The property has a prime location in Old San Juan. You are steps away from all of the best attractions, bars and restaurants. Easy 23 minute cab ride to and from the airport. The host Ingrid had great communication so I had a perfect contactless check-in. I met some of the other guests during my stay and they were super friendly. One of the best bars in the Caribbean/world is just across the street. I highly recommend Trotamundos!

The bathroom is on the lower level, but we knew when we booked. If you want a place to sleep in a great spot in San Juan this is for you.

The hostess is very responsive. Directions were very clear. The location is ideal. We were within a 3 minute walk to everything we wanted to see.

Can’t do anything about the stairs, but I didn’t have to like them. Only thing I didn’t like was the price—but that is OSJ, so a 9 instead of a 10. This place would be nirvana for anyone headed to La Factoria.

The location was amazing. Communication with the host was top-tier. The location was located in the heart of San Juan. We enjoyed being right in the middle of everything if you’re looking for a quiet place. You may wanna look elsewhere the noise didn’t bother us at all. We enjoyed the nightlife and when we came up, it felt so good to hear the island so alive. We will definitely be staying here again and recommending it to our friends and family.

Didn't look anything like the pictures, very dark & noisy, & host made us wait for 45 min. to get the gate code to get in. Would never stay there again. Also a very steep, scary ladder to get to bedroom.

It was ok. There was a whole island blackout and the electric door wouldn't open for a long period of time. But it was ok. Great location.

The facility is dated. Small, no windows in the room. Extremely steep stairs, the room key is on a rusty ring attached to a woman’s hair band. no elevators. The bed is hard and everything just looks dingy. Bathroom is small and I have to sit sideways to use the toilet. Shower water leaked badly and water just ran along the wall instead of coming out of the showehead. Overall a very poor night stay. The building is sandwiched between clubs/bars. Nonstop loud music all night. No amenities in the room, you need to go outside and help yourself with essential.

The room was located on the top floor of a three story building with no elevator. This place is hardly fit for human occupation, more of a storage space. It had a bed, a fridge (where a bedside table should be) with a basket on top, a desk, a coat rack and a dustpan and broom in one corner. The room had no windows, no air, no light except for the one overhead light, I had to ask for a nightlight and was given a reading light. The only saving grace of this room was the high ceiling and white walls. The bathroom was across the hallway from this storage/room. The hallway overlooked the rooftops below that looked like garbage storage. I arrived around 4:30'ish and had to wait for almost 15 minutes for someone to come to open the door as the lockbox was jammed. I didn't have much choice at that late stage so I made the best of it. I also didn't want to be too forthright about the state of the place for fear of what might happen to me, being alone in such a sketchy place and having such poor grasp of the language. Therefore I made light of my comments, that the room reminded me of the inside cabin of a cruise ship (in so far as it being so small with no access in of natural light) I was unable to spend much time in this unwelcoming space so I went walking around the area, returning at bedtime. Honestly, had I seen this place in advance, I would not have stayed there for free. I'm curious to know what, if any, are your minimum standards for an accommodation to qualify as hotel accommodation listing on your site. With all of the above, imagine my shock to receive a revised bill adding unjustified charges to my bill. Thank you

The bed was not comfortable, way too soft and there were no windows to the room. The bathroom was not connected to the room and the hallway to reach the bathroom was open to everyone.

Hotel was defunct and had been closed for years! What more can I say other than why was this Hotel listed on Booking.com? this must have been a very old listing and never updated by booking. I'll never use this site again!

This Hotel has been closed for years! ~ Dropped off from the San Juan Puerto Rico Airport by Uber, we were left stranded for hours in the middle of this huge city, where we had never been before and knew nothing about! It took us so much walking as we shlepped our huge luggage around trying to find a room as everything in Old San Juan was booked. Being too late in the day to get an Airbnb, VRBO or other alternative stay, my traveling companion found us a modest place with a room. so we had to get another Uber. We had left our home in New Mexico at 2am and were exhausted after traveling 20 hours before getting to a room! Booking Sux!

The room had no window. The bed was some foam on a worn out mattress, two people would roll in the middle, expect back pain. The bathroom is across the hall. There is a musty smell probably due to this being an old and poorly behaved building. The whole setup feels very slapped together and unsafe. This is definitely against fire and building code. The cost was also unbelievable expensive at $141 on the offseason.

The location is decent but since we were not partying it didn’t benefit us.
