Quaint, quiet, touch of elegance, beautifully maintained, gorgeous courtyard

In one word: amazing! What a fantastic experience. You see the owner returning from the market with crates full of fresh fruit – and you can taste it at breakfast: delicious, extensive, and perfectly taken care of. Naturally accompanied by coffee, tea, and fresh juices. Even beyond breakfast you are spoiled: the refrigerators are generously stocked, and it’s all included – a big plus! The building has been completely renovated recently, so the rooms are luxurious, modern, and extremely comfortable. Everything radiates quality and care. But what truly makes it special are Fernando and his team. They make sure you don’t miss a thing: always friendly, always helpful. When we had car trouble, Fernando immediately stepped in: “Come with me, I’ll take you to the garage, I’ll handle the conversation (in Portuguese).” Here, you don’t just feel like a guest, but also like a friend. The location itself is just as wonderful: a beautiful village, stunning surroundings, and incredibly kind people. In short: this is an absolute top accommodation. We will definitely be coming back!

The staff were incredibly sweet and helpful, which made our stay extra pleasant. The breakfast was delicious, and the building itself has a lovely old charm. There’s also a pool and jacuzzi on-site, though we didn’t get the chance to use them. We loved being in Odeceixe—such a beautiful place!

Everything was perfect.

Everything. We were made to feel welcome from the start… even though we were ahead of check in time. Terrific hosts. Fantastic room, ultra comfortable. The whole set ip the boutique accommodation is just perfect… the ambience , the food and the facilities. This is a special place, the best place we’ve stayed in between Porto and Faro. A perfect 10 out of 10.

We had to accidentally switch location for one night and ended up in AL-Odeceixe Verde. Amazing place, great people, super clean and nice rooms. Amazing breakfast! Would definitely visit again.

The friendly staff and the cooking/breakfast serving ladies have been a real positive surprise. We did not expect such fantastic customer focus. We were offered a welcome drink and the breakfast was of outstanding quality. Everything super fresh from the orange juice to the rich fruit bowl. We hiked the Rota Vicentina and water bottles and food for the day were offered for free.

Everything is so nice and new, the staff super helpful and friendly, the inner yard is lovely. But what blew us away was the breakfast. It's absolutely exceptional down to freshly baked pastel de nata.

Best stay in guest house /hotel we have experienced in over 20 visits to Portugal. Loved the relaxing decor of all the rooms, the courtyard , a beautiul stress free space. Fresh Breakfast, complimentary drinks and especially our host and his lovely staff who make the Al Od Verde extra special .

Our room was overlooking the communal garden, where breakfast is served. So we got woken up as soon as breakfast started at 8am. Bedroom and bathroom windows face off to a neighbouring restaurant. So we had to keep blinds down most of the time for privacy.

The owner was very hospitable and charismatic. The property is well renovated and is very nice, with a great ambience. There is a communal garden with a free drinks fridge. Breakfast was great, all fresh and even included freshly baked pastel de nata. Location is also great - right in the middle of the village, next to several good restaurants

You really can only check in at 3pm as the door is closed until then.

Wonderful stay. A Little more expensive but 1-2 levels up. Welcome drink on arrival included. Big breakfast with a takeaway box for what you can't finish. Plush towels and crisp all white linen. Staff very helpful in all aspects.
