Cleanest could be better particularly in the kitchen and bathroom. Christina is very sweet but she should be more strict to ask the clients to keep the place clean ! However, in terms of of facilities … to have only 1 bathroom for a possibly of 5 rooms (10 persons) is not enough! A bit far from action … you need a car or use public transport which is just beside.

I arrived late at night but still was welcomed, the place is nice and well located. The room was more than enough for the price. I definitely recommend and would stay there again.

We (couple) had a short term booking of a double room with sharing bathroom and pool with high expectations …but felt actually fooled after a 8.4 super rating at a triple digit price in a tiny suffocating room next to the pool area/patio WC/shower room. The only window goes to the patio (closing the window meant no sleep due to sweating in a suffocating heat - opening the window meant no sleep due WC and patio noise until long after midnight from drinking and talking groups of young men). The saggy mattress of the bed was a torture for our spinal columns. The kitchen in the communal area was cramped, the fridge designated for the private room guests overfull, more than two persons at once could not enter…

Staff and boss were were friendly and communication without problem…but…

I was absolutely delighted with my stay at Anchor House! I want to express my sincere gratitude to the incredibly polite, smiling, and hospitable hosts of the hostel. They were always available, helped with everything I needed, and were very accommodating in every situation. I arrived late at night, and they welcomed me with a smile, showed me everything in detail, and kindly placed me in a separate, beautiful, and newly renovated room so I wouldn’t disturb my future roommates. That was very thoughtful and considerate! I especially appreciated the opportunity to work peacefully on my laptop outside, in the garden gazebo, accompanied by birdsong. The atmosphere here is wonderfully calming, perfect for both relaxation and focus. The people staying at the hostel were also very friendly and pleasant, which added to the overall warm and homely feeling of the place. I would gladly return here again! Thank you so much for your warm hospitality — it was truly a pleasure staying with you. Wishing you all the best!

Toilet was dirty, the room's door wasn't closing properly, the bed wasn't prepared beforehand, we had to make the bed.

Toilet papers in washroom there is no toilet paper in washroom and there should be floor matt in toilet small toilet matt in washroom.

We had a room with a double and single bed as stayed with our ten-year-old daughter. The outside area is lovely to relax in and eat dinner. You get space in the fridge and share a kitchen as well as a bathroom, which was modern and clean. Marcos was very accommodating and helpful, always making sure we were ok and ready to offer advice on where to visit. It was also nice to meet people of other nationalities who were staying there and chat to them. Also, easy to park in the free car park right opposite.
