The size and set up of the room was perfect for our group. We did not expect to have a dorm type of bathroom all for ourselves. The staff were amazing and made us feel very welcomed.

The pool area had a lot of potential if only it was heated. It was quite cold when we were there as Cascais can have microclimates being by the Atlantic ocean.

Room was very clean, big double bed, nice shower, plenty of towels, nice breakfast served outside. Very friendly staff.

The room I got was clean and very comfortable. The location was great, and 5-10 minute walk from the water and a less than 5 minute walk from Rua Amarela where there are some amazing restaurants. It is also very close to the museum district and is just in a great location. The value for the accommodations was fantastic, I felt that I got more than what I paid for, especially with the breakfast included. The staff went above and beyond. I felt very welcomed and cared for, the breakfast was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my stay. The staff was absolutely lovely and very kind and accommodating. I needed to do laundry and when I asked where the best laundromat nearby was they instead called their sister property and someone came and directly picked up my clothes and had them all clean by the following morning. I would highly recommend someone stays here, I also felt very safe and as a solo traveler this is something I really need in an accommodation.

My only concern was that while my room did have a lock on it I was told that was the only one that did. It is a very safe building with staff living on the property, but that is a minor concern.

I loved the staff and outdoor area.

Loved the little pool for the kids, and it was a nice spot to hang out, relax, and soak our feet after a long day of walking. Breakfast was great. And the staff was so nice and helpful.

The bathroom situation in our suite was odd, with multiple toilet and shower stalls. I would say if there was a way to keep the water from the showers from spilling out it would be an improvement.

Quiet place, clean, just 7 min walk from center and just enough to be away from the vibrant center. Breakfast was perfect. Hosts very polite and responsive.

Could have enjoyed better body soap/shampoo!

Excellent breakfast. Loved the location in Cascais, but away from the nighttime restaurant scene. Nice check-in service.

The owners could definitely make minimal investment to increase the experience greatly. Linens curtains blinds etc.

Location, back streets of Cascais. Bang for buck, it is good value compared to actual hotels in the area. The staff are really friendly too.

They didn’t make up the room and we had to go ask for more towels on the second day. The sheets didn’t fit the bed and kept slipping off, that was pretty annoying when trying to sleep.

Art4You Hostel is a true hidden gem, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood of private homes, yet just a short walk from the beach and main attractions of Cascais. The property is small, cozy, and tastefully decorated. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming – we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was delicious and varied, served in a lovely, relaxing space. Guests also have access to a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. If you’re traveling by car, it’s a good idea to contact the hosts in advance – they have a few parking spots available and offer them free of charge. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something unique and affordable in Cascais!
