the house / renovations are dated and it shows. you may be paying for pay for the pool privilege , more than the room itself. if you value the pool, you’ll be good. little soundproofing across rooms? for 7 nights of our stay, we could hear the snoring from the other (rental) room - *every* night.

staff really goes the extra mile! you’re showered with heart warming care and dedication. I haven’t experie such attention and commitment prior. there’s two floors and we stayed in the top one, which was a nice plus with the view overlooking fields, sea and sunset! kitchen has a good mix of cutlery and cooking utensils for you to enjoy the meal prep. Thank you for all / both bed arrangements!

Some of the lights did light with a very little light, when turned off. Which disturbed me during the night, due to be very sensitive to light sources during the night.

Lovely apartment with balcony facing amazing views. The apartment is located on two floors and include everything you might need. A great surprise was the complementary basket with a little surprise waiting for us up on arrival.

Wonderful, family-oriented accommodation located on the outskits of town in a seccluded countryside setting, but still close to the town and to the expressway connecting the east and the west coast. We stayed for three nights in the 'White Appartment' and enjoyed everything during this charming repurposed and renovated estate. The outside premises are well maintained with beautiful gardens and paths to explore, featuring a modern swimming pool. There are also plenty of parking spaces on the premises. Our appartment was spacious, clean and well kept. The welcome gift was a nice detail and we really liked it. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities and equipment, incuding a filter coffee maker. The only thing we missed was a washing machine. The bedroom featured a comfortable bed, and a small cot was added for our daughter as well. The decor and furnishing was very fitting, providing for a pleasing match of vintage and modern. The bathroom was spacious, with a really great shower. After a long day of hiking and sightseeing we were always looking forward to return to this amazing place in the evening.

The air in the property was rather heavy and somewhat smelly, might be due to wintertime humidity. One thing we were lacking was washing machine.

Nicely dedigned and decorated appartment in a beautiful old house. One could find pretty views and nice corners all around the two floors. Great facilities and very good location, however one might need a car to get around.

The host was very attentive and made our stay a memorable one. The location is conveniently just outside of town and nearby the highway to get to anywhere else on the island. We would definitely stay here again.

Air conditioner unit didn’t work very well or is too small for the size of the apartment. The main area temp was ok but the bedroom could get stuffy at night.

The property was beautiful and very well maintained. Our apartment was clean, comfortable, private and quiet. Bed was comfy and shower was very nice! The host was very nice and very thoughtful leaving us yummy snacks upon arrival and during our stay.

The only thing that we missed were curtains in the bedroom to make it dark during the day, so our baby could take a nap in the afternoon.

Location was quiet and perfect. We had everything we needed. It was clean and the owner responded super fast and was very kind. We really enjoyed our stay! Would definitely come back.

Location is perfect, apartments are clean, comfortable! The owners are extremely nice and friendly! They waited for us with a picnic basket: fruits, cake, cheese, coffee- nicest gesture ever! :)

Everything is perfect! A washing machine would be a good addition for longer stays but we found a laundry in the nearby city. Due to weather conditions we could not dive into the pool 🙁 Next time!

The hosts were very helpful and friendly coming to make up the sofa bed late at night. We had a lot of space and really appreciated the breakfast basket that was left to us.

Not the owners fault about, but we had very noisy neighbors after they left and new ones arrived we didn’t have an issue anymore.

Owners were very friendly and helpful. Communication with them was great. They also provided tips for the island. We definitely used the restaurant tips. We liked having our own apartment, very spacious and a lot privacy. House is fully equipped with everything you need. We loved that it wasn’t in Ponte Delgada but outside so we could retreat back to a comfortable place after long days.
