Very nice restored building in the city center. The downstairs entrance looks like a boutique, it welcomes people in a special way. We enjoyed a lot the breakfast. People were very kind and helpful.

Located in a beautiful building in the centre of this small town. Very tastefully and carefully decorated. Good size bedroom located on a higher floor with lift access. Free parking in car park very nearby. Excellent freshly prepared breakfast in ground floor communal area. Would recommend. We had a good dinner at The Return restaurante.

Nothing - it was a very lovely stay.

This is a beautifully designed/remodelled hotel. The common areas are comfortable and the room was large, very clean, and super quiet. Breakfast was plentiful, including freshly prepared eggs, and the ladies serving were lovely. Our bikes were securely stored in a garage a few streets away. There is a cafe right next door and a few restaurants nearby.

The hotel called us during the day explaining that the key would be in a lockbox so we could arrive any time that we wanted. While there was a mistake with the key when we arrived during the evening this was very quickly solved. Breakfast was excellent and rather than a standard buffet breakfast everything was on our table and we were able to request anything extra - this made it much more personalized than a large hotel.

Beautiful restored property on a lovely square. Sparkling clean and comfortable with nice communal spaces inside and outside. The balcony overlooking town and the giant bathtub were highlights! I appreciated Ana, the helpful host, and the charming ladies who made a delicious breakfast. I would recommend this property 100% !

I loved this hotel. It was really clean, bright and very well designed inside. The outside was beautiful with its tiled exterior. One of the nicest places we've stayed. The breakfast was great too. The lady who served us was really nice, the breakfast exceptional. She couldn't do enough for us , a real asset to the hotel! Free public parking just a few steps away from the hotel. Self check in which was very efficient. I rang the host who was very quick to respond and answered my questions.

Very nicely decorated, comfortable and very clean place. At the heart of Santa Comba Dão it was a very memorable stay. For people traveling by car, there is a car park very nearby around the corner.

The only thing I would suggest is facilities to make tea/coffee in the room.

The accommodation is extremely comfortable, clean and modern with beautiful views from the balcony onto the square and the surrounding hillside. Very spacious and very welcoming. The host is extremely responsive and helpful with recommendations and the breakfast provided is lovely.

The town itself was very quiet but be warned there are two sets of church bells which strike the time on the hour , every hour and one of them also strikes once on the half hour! One set is slow so strikes after the first set have finished.This goes on all day and night! Apart from the bells we loved the hotel and the town.

The hotel was in a perfect location overlooking a pretty square. Parking was a few steps away in a free town car park. Lovely view from our balcony. Breakfast was continental with a good choice including fresh orange juice and freshly cooked scrambled eggs. Host was very helpful as the day we were there not many restaurants were open in the evening but she booked us in at a restaurant overlooking the municipal swimming pool and river beyond where we enjoyed a very nice evening meal.

Entering the building in the evening was amazing: a large lounge, heated and very welcoming. The accommodation was impeccable: large room, well-equipped bathroom, excellent bed, a great view. The host made contact on the eve of the arrival, answered all issues and adapted the breakfast as requested. Although we booked just for a sleepover, the city was also a surprise and the winter visit was very nice.
