Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomA bit pricey but worth it for a short stay if you’re not on a budget
It’s nice, everything looks new, close to nice restaurants and shops, Manager is really friendly, you’ll find paper towels in the bathroom and kitchen and handsoap etc. A little bottle of wine and coffee capsules is a nice, welcoming treat.

GermanyThere was a very bad smell from under the kitchen sink although the kitchen was very clean. The noise from the road is a problem for light sleepers. The price was not justified- I have stayed in better places for 150 Euros per night.
Spacious and modern apartment with a nice and well equipped kitchenette and bathroom. Very comfortable bed and everything was spotlessly clean. Friendly staff and uncomplicated checkin.

United States of AmericaRoom 2A had a weird issue where it had a smell of garbage (in the room, not the bathroom) lingering all the time. The room is also on quite a noisy street, so not ideal if you’re sensitive to noise while sleeping. Too expensive for these sorts of things.
It was new and modern, with complimentary 375 mL (half) bottle of wine

United KingdomOur room smelled of the toilet. The rooms are next to the lift, which you can hear it. On arrival, there was no reply on the doorbell, no reply on WhatsApp and we got in by following a courier into the building, followed signs to eventually lead to the basement but the office was locked. A Gent (Raphael) eventually appeared but told us he was just in charge of housekeeping but could check us in. We followed the check-in process, signed some paperwork, and paid upfront but were unable to get a receipt at the time (over a week later and we still didn't get a receipt) but were promised one on the day of our departure. We booked two apartments, but on the night of the arrival of the second guest, I received a WhatsApp message that due to the blocked toilet, they had to cancel the second booking. We saw a lady with the suitcase staying in that room however that evening, we realised the problem was they messed up with the booking, not the blockage. When we went to the basement office the next day to discuss the options for the remainder of the stay, Raphael was on the phone shouting at someone, and after he hung up he told me the other booking (who was our family) was rude, arrogant and he insulted all of us, then he walked toward me appeared aggressively & asked me to leave, despite of we were patient with his very rude behaviour. I had a letter from the property threatening not to leave a review or he'll use the CCTV record against us.
The layout of the accommodation was spacious, all brand new and branded equipment/fittings. The kitchen was modern.

When we arrived at CONDE13, we were immediately greeted with professionalism and warmth, setting a positive tone right from the start. The staff was exceptionally attentive, ensuring any requests we had were swiftly addressed. The apartment was spotlessly clean and offered a high level of comfort, making it a perfect city retreat. The pricing was also very reasonable, especially considering the prime location—a mere five-minute walk from Avenida da Liberdade. Everything about our stay felt thoughtfully curated to enhance our experience in Lisbon. I wholeheartedly recommend this aparthotel to anyone visiting the city. Obrigado.
