The room had a bit less electrical sockets. The matress was a bit stiff but not a big problem.

The pool area was super nice and big! We enjoyed there our time and the food at the poolbar was very good. The staff was very nice and they even found and give us a key that we lost!

As so often, clients fall between the cracks of Booking.com and hotels. If Booking tells me I should contact the hotel to change the dates of my reservation, and the hotel replies I first need to contact Booking, something is deeply wrong. And as I was reconvalescent, just out of the hospital, that silly game was annoying to say the least. Almost as annoying is the 25 EUR charge for an hour of late checkout. After paying 340 EUR for 2 nights, and having had to change rooms due to inexplicable noise in the building, all of this was quite disappointing.

If you're looking for a few relaxing days on the coast, with a beautiful view of the ocean, just a short walk from a charming town, and in a hotel full of architectural historical character — then this place is perfect. We truly enjoyed our stay here!

Breakfast was very poor and tasteless, it certainly did not meet a 4 star hotel rating. Scrambled eggs and sausages (frankfurters) were awful, no fried eggs or omlets, there was no selection of breads and no toaster.

The location is fantastic, with direct access to the beach and 10 minutes walk to the centre of Sesimbra, staff friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, although the bathroom was a bit dated, but everything was working.

staff had no info on local things like snorkling, the park - not even flyers. there was no way to wash sand off my feet after swimming and being on the beach - had to walk through the hotel with sandy feet! food was adequate, not great mold smell coming from old section - glad we stayed in the other section

We had a wonderful stay! The location is excellent, and the sea view throughout the hotel is absolutely fantastic. Although the hotel is not modern, it is well maintained, and that didn’t bother us at all. All the staff were extremely helpful and professional, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended!

The structure is old and smells weird in some places. Bathtub is too small and the bathroom is quite dark, needed more light. Sauna was not hot enough and turkish bath was off.

Restaurant and breakfast food quality is not up to standard for a 4 star hotel. Also the hotel is outdated and many amenities are obsolete, again, for a 4 star hotel.

The hotel could do with being modernised a bit and being freshened up with paint and new carpets. Furniture looks old, the corridor was are bland. It could do with nice pictures of old Sesimbra.

I believe the spa could be a bit better. The Turkish bath is very good, and the pool also great. But it is missing a Jacuzzi and maybe other spa elements. The hotel could use some remodeling, although it's pretty decent. It's probably from the 70's and never had any updates.

The location is perfect, right in front of the beach. The room has a great balcony with sea view, and you can easily catch some sun and relax. It's an amazing place!

The lamps in the room were old, so they made noise during the whole night.

Amazing view super close to the ocean and the hotel was big so full of options of stuff to do during the day without having to leave the hotels' property.
