The first day they gave me an absolutely disgusting room. Old, extremely stained carpet, broken doors, old blankets (which hotel uses blankets anyway)… I had to reach out to Booking’s Customer Service and the dearest at the front desk did the rest. I got the room I payed for only on the second day. No restitution was made. I didn’t try the outdoor pool, but I strongly recommend you DO NOT use the indoor pool as the water is extremely dirty. It reeks to disinfectant that burned my eyes as soon as I went through the door. You see, the smell of pure chlorine is odorless. What you're actually smelling are chloramines. One way these chemicals form is through a reaction with ammonia–which is found in body oils, sweat, and yes, urine. So the stronger the "chlorine" smell, the dirtier the pool is. So… skip this pool. Or any other pool with this type of smell. I’m still waiting on my invoice.

The front desk clerk Luis, who helped me on the second day to get the room I actually booked, which had a wonderful view and it was actually remodeled. The breakfast is good and rich although the eggs come from a box. The gym is great and the fact that they have entertainment every night is a plus. Location is fantastic.

Pay for parking (€7 per day) and was slightly noisy from other rooms/balconies on some nights.

Breakfast was good. Room was comfy, but did have no air con which was fine for staying in April. Close to lots of nice restaurants. Staff very helpful and polite. Facilites were good for the value, pool, gym, breakfast, comfy room. Slightly outdated in the room but didn’t effect our stay and isn’t as bad as the comments make out.

Limited parking, we reserved a paid parking spot beforehand but if you arrive after 19:00 you will still not have a parking spot despite paying for it. Shower head was old and broken, it kept falling off the wall while showering. No shampoo, only basic hand soap and body soap (which dried out your skin, so we ended up purchasing new soap ourselves). No airconditioner.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Very useful to have a fridge in the room if you want to keep drinks and fruits cold for hikes, quite spacious for a hotel fridge. There is also a small stove, microwave, plates and utensils though we didn't use it. Breakfast was ok.

The pool should be open longer then 20:00. It is a pity, that hotel does not provide the towel in the pool.

The parking was full, so couldn’t park at the property. The rooms look old and outdated, very shabby. The shower pressure is in existent because the pipe leaks so no water gets into the shower head

Nice hotel with good amenities. The two pools (one of them heated) is a big advantage. Breakfast was good. Room has a kitchenette and basic cooking equipment, so cooking own food was also convenient.

Poor breakfast - 'hot' options were not kept hot! Hard to get on the tennis court as so booked out by coaches so played at 8-9am or lunchtime. Had to pay for tennis court use, even with our own rackets and balls. This was not mentioned before booking Bathroom was very 'tired' and old fashioned. Non slip strips in the bath stopped us using it as a bath so just as a shower over bath. generally the hotel and apartment areas needed a refurb

the hallways are not renovated so it looks a bit shocking when you walk in, but all other areas, including the room and restaurants are renovated and look far more pleasant.

The room is in urgent need of renovation - flooring with holes and dark spots, the furniture is super-tired. The hairdryer is super slow and very old. There's no aircon - this was not a problem for us with 20-22 degrees outside - with the balcony door open the temperature in the room was ok. Overall, for the price, it was ok.

Whoever the room looks new, the furniture is quite oldish and you can see it everywhere after looking closer. Not the best hotel in our life, but can be recommended if you accept that oldish stuff.

Fair price studio hotel for our five days tour in Madeira. Shops and bus stops are near, also you can find some parking spots, but most of them are paid. The room was quite normal in size, with a nice balcony and birds singing at morning. The staff was pretty nice with us, also we asked for a mini heater because the room was a bit cold. Breakfast is diverse, perfect for starting the day and they provided fresh gluten free bread. There was a small kitchen also which can be helpful.

It was super noisy at night like someone built a new room above our room and 2 times the evelator didn’t work. The breakfast was ok. They got a tennis court for 13€/h
