How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewNice building. Good location, in the middle of vineyard. The indoor pool and outdoor pool are nice. The view from the room / balcony is great. The view from other places in the hotel was great too (restaurant, pool). The architecture of the building is very interesting. Dinner in the restaurant is great. Staff was kind.
The staff was kind, but you could tell the staff was overwhelmed by the amount of work. An extra staff member would have improved the experience. Breakfast was subpar. It closes at 10:30. Once we arrived at 10:00 and lots of items were already gone restricting once choice severely. The gym is not well equiped. There is a double cable machine but proper handles are missing. Hence, you couldn’t really use it. This is very unfortunate as these handles are very cheap to replace. The jacuzzi is nice, but we couldn’t get the jet mode working properly. One of the two saunas was closed. Water was cut off (very shortly) twice during the morning.

Verified reviewIt's an ok hotel in terms of facilities but definitely not a 5star hotel. The staff seems uninterested and board line rude.
It was 34 degrees and there were only 5 sun umbrellas by the pool. Impossible to enjoy if there's no shade. Asked reception to add a couple more they said they would. I waited for two hours and nothing was done. I ended up leaving without enjoying the pool. Mentioned it at reception and nothing was offered to compensate for it.

Verified reviewTo be fair, there were a few things I did appreciate: - On the day we had an early flight, breakfast wasn’t open yet, but the staff prepared a small tray for us with coffee, bread, cheese, ham and fruit. That was a thoughtful touch. - The bed was huge and very comfortable. - The room itself was spacious and clean. - The shower was great — strong water pressure and hot water. - The dinner we had at the restaurant was actually very tasty. - The SPA area is great.
First of all, this hotel is not a real 5-star hotel. It’s advertised as such, but unfortunately, the service and overall experience don’t reflect that standard. It’s a shame, because the hotel has the structure to be something much better — they have an indoor and outdoor pool, spacious rooms, and a beautiful building. But the service is poor, and honestly, it just doesn’t feel like a 5-star experience at all. There are small (but essential) things missing: - No coffee or tea station in the room. Not even a kettle. - The TV is tiny. - No iron available for guests — apparently “for safety reasons,” which makes no sense. - You have to buy a swimming cap to use the spa. Who travels with a swim cap on vacation? If it’s a rule, the hotel should provide it. - There’s no cutlery, no plates, not even a wine opener in the room — we had to go through a whole process just to open a bottle of wine. - The hairdryer is weak and old. - The gym is barely equipped — not great if you like to work out while traveling. - Breakfast one morning was almost empty — we arrived 30 minutes before it closed, and there was hardly anything left. The buffet also doesn’t really have much choice. - Dinner at the restaurant was tasty, but clearly understaffed. You could feel that the few people working were doing their best, but it wasn’t enough for the amount of guests. And the worst part for me: If you want a simple coffee, you can’t make it in the room. You have to go all the way to the bar or reception. Same with everything else — it feels like the hotel tries to charge you for every basic thing, instead of offering comfort.

Verified reviewRunning a hotel is never easy, but when everything is going well it is a lot easier. When there are problems, then the hotel shows it's true quality. When we arrived my friend was not well. The room had been set up as a double room, despite us ordering it as a twin bed room. The staff immediately set to to change the beds. It then became obvious that separate rooms would be better. At every stage the staff did their best to help. They were brilliant. That ignores the brilliant location, excellent facillities, great restaurant, and comfortable rooms.
My friend wasn't unwell. Seriously the hotel was great.

Verified reviewI loved the warm & amazing staff of the hotel. The facilities are very good, the restaurant fantastic and the view is gorgeous. Very happy we went there.
Unfortunately, the only thing missing was the connection through booking chat, as we asked a question a day before going and they didn't get back to us.

Verified reviewFirst and foremost, your beautiful establishment and grounds and the incredible views! In addition, the staff was very accommodating and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious - from the charcuterie board when we arrived to our dinner in the dining room as well as the incredible breakfast buffet! This was our third time staying in your hotel and, hopefully, not the last!!
Can’t think of anything
