Unfortunately I can't give it a 10, although I would have liked to. There is one problem with this apartment, also reported by other travelers: unusual noises coming from the apartment above: banging, noises as if furniture is being dragged across the floors. The noises persist until late at night and resume in the early hours of the morning. It is impossible to sleep without earplugs or headphones. It's not the hosts' fault, I know, but for the price charged for the apartment, travelers expect to rest. Another suggestion: that very comfortable bed deserves other pillows. Please change the pillows, they are terrible.

Comfortable apartment in the center of Lisbon. Nothing beats the location. Exemplary cleanliness, easy self check in, hosts easy to contact via Whatsapp.

The front door from the street was jamming and wouldn’t open properly. The stones were dangerous by the front door. The people upstairs were very noisy.

Incredible location. We had some issues with the facilities: the stove was not working, but Maria was very quick to help to get it sorted, and there is a beautiful bath but no bath plug, rendering it unusable which was such a pity. Generally an enjoyable stay.

Like other people have said I think there is a hostel above the 2nd floor. The noise continued a lot of the night. We tried to work out if they were moving furniture, or had a rowing machine. As it’s in the city the road outside was noisy which is to be expected.

Location was fantastic. Near the centre short walk only and near the tube. Supermarket is very near. Bed was comfortable place was clean and had extras like shower gel, washing liquid for the machine and dishwasher tablets. It was easy to find and clear instructions to get in via what’s app

Unbearable noise 24/7 from the hostel upstairs, with heavy furniture (or maybe room dividers on metal tracks) being constantly dragged across the floor, and their toilet flushing noisily through our bathroom. One night, it was so loud, that I thought that someone was in our bedroom. Very poor sound insulation from the street: the double glazing needs to be replaced, as there's constant noise from the many tour buses, taxis and emergency vehicles honking and blaring their sirens through the night. We had to go to another hotel to get a decent night's sleep. Safety issues with unmarked steps down into the window reveals, which we both fell down and hurt ourselves, and my husband subsequently fell up, and landed flat on the floor. There's a sharp metal staple sticking up out of the very squeaky floorboards, which we trod on with bare feet. Mercifully, we didn't cut ourselves. The water tank dripped constantly, which made it feel like living in a cave. The apartment was cold and damp, and had no heating. The air-con didn't heat the room at all. The shower cubicle was mouldy, and the bathroom walls are very badly damaged with water ingress. The furniture was very old, and tired, and tatty. Several items on the inventory were missing: toaster, heater, etc. Very few glasses (we had to buy our own, and a cafetiėre). No pans or dishes that could be used in the oven, which made it almost impossible to cook a decent meal. The towels were terrible quality: barely good enough to clean the floor with. Very old, thin, rough, too small, only one hand-towel and one small bath-towel each, and one tea-towel: and we had to specifically request fresh ones as they weren't changed after several days (and the apartment wasn't being cleaned, either, until we asked). Similarly with the poor-quality, old, bedlinen. There was only one small, hard pillow each, and no spare sheets or pillowslips.

first of all. there were water dripping from the ceiling in the kitchen. 2) we weren’t allowed to keep the bedroom ac on during the day because it was causing leaking water down by the shop. 3) there was a major plumbing issue that needed to take care of. there is a a little area in the apartment. the work was started but not completed so every time someone used the bathroom upstairs you can hear the flushing or gushing water sound. it was very unpleasant. you can hear it very clearly.

the location is central. it is closer to everything. that’s about it. the property itself as so many plumbing issues. the condition is falsely advertised.
