Only problem was the wifi, it wasn’t great, but that’s such a minor problem!

The staff were amazing, pizza night was perfectly prepared and such a fun vibe! We did yoga in the mornings and it was an easy walk into town! It was soooo clean and had a pool which was perfect for post surf days!

Unfortunately it was above average temperatures and no ac made it a little hard to sleep but other than that it was great.

The staff were really lovely and the pool and facilities were fantastic. Such a beautiful spot to unwind and relax.

A small detail for improvement: the doorknob of the bedroom needs some grease to stop it squeaking and weaking people up :)

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed! The staff is very welcoming and friendly, I arrived before check-in time and they let me use the common space: a garden with a pool and a bar all very well taken care of, creating a vibrant but also chilled atmosphere. The rooms and the facilities are all new and they're doing their best to keep everything clean, plus they have a fully equipped kitchen and laundry service - basically, everything you need. The yoga classes every morning on the terrace (for free) is an amazing experienece, and they can also help organize surfing classes. If you're looking for a memorable vacation, this is the place!

The hostel has a really chill and pleasant vibe! Everyone is respectful and kind. There’s a nice pool, breakfast is really cheap… we had free yoga twice during our stay which was really nice!

The comfort of a hotel combined with the friendly, social atmosphere of a hostel. Gloria, the host, is incredibly kind, and the entire staff is welcoming and helpful. There’s a beautiful pool just outside the rooms, and every night they organize delightful dinner events. I truly hope to come back as soon as possible! The best healthy breakfast I had in 8 days along Portugal ❤️

Beautiful hostel with great facilities and free optional activities like morning yoga. Rooms were very comfortable and clean and staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was worth the money and very yummy.

I had a great stay at The Lighthouse! One of the best hostel I’ve ever stayed! Everything was super clean, the hostel has all the facilities you could need, and the bed was really comfy. The barbecue is such a nice touch, and the view from the rooftop is just stunning. And let’s not forget the breakfast absolutely delicious!!! What really makes the place special though is the team Giulia, Artur, Nico, and Gloria the manager are all amazing, and the volunteers do such a great job. They really make the whole experience unforgettable. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The person receiving us was very friendly and working hard serving both the bar and reception. Our room and adjacent bathroom were super clean and there were extra bathrooms that we could use so we could all shower at the same time to get ready for dinner. Our laundry was done for a fee and there was plenty of space to hang it including a clothing rail with hangers in the room. The lockable storage space under the bunk beds were a great bonus and helped to keep the floor tidy and to move around the room. The beds were comfy with fresh towels and a curtain for privacy.

Arthur and Guillia greeted me and are lovely also don’t miss the tasty breakfast that Charlie makes. A really good place to stay. The beaches at Sagres are superb and I especially love to have a glass of wine looking at the ocean from one of the little bars near the sea and better still the ones on the beach. If you like surfing etc. it’s perfect. The beaches are 2/3 kilometres away.
