We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Portugalwe were not informed that the kitchen is practically outside the house. there were a lot of mold, during our stay the rain water was coming inside and flooding the room, one of the bed and our belongings. There was several leaks: around the fire exhaust tube, over the outer walls. The house was generally cold and the fire stove was the only mean of heating. As a result of our stay all of us got cold with fever. Overall, the description of the property does not correspond with reality, by far. I can provide more photos of the interior than it is possible to attach here.

United KingdomREAD THIS!! First time ever in my life i have left a place earlier than planned check out. Unfortunately there is a limit of words i can type here but let me summarise our experience. Kitchen outside with cold water tap only, to wash things properly we had to go inside the bathroom. There was 2 cats constantly bothering us, going on top of the table we use to eat. One of the cats was "playing" with a mouse whilst we were eating. inside the cupboards, cob webs and spiders breeding. Lawn watering tip sticking right in middle of walking path which someone can easily trip. Bedrooms do not have any wardrobes nor any TVs anywhere in the house. i have asked about ironing and been told it was prohibited due to safety reasons. (first time ever i hear this from a rental place). I have asked for heating in the house for the night as it felt colder as the night came in. The lady was kind enough to bring us some wood for the fireplace which it was the only way to get heating. There was a wood tray on top of the fireplace which almost caught on fire and created a lot of smoke in the house. (who in their right mind leaves that on top of a fireplace? it is not my responsibility to worry about these things as i am on holidays!) The host then has the audacity to tell me it is hot enough during the night and that we are not allowed to use the fireplace. (i have a wife that is very sensitive to temperature hence 15 degrees is not enough at night.) he then also mentions that they are very happy we left earlier and that we hate each other(we only did not like the stay but never hated him) on top of this he demands a good review in exchange for the refund of the nights we did not stay, (what a joke! id much rather lose the money and be fair than to be bought.) come to find out from booking.com he reported us for misconduct! on what?? we left the place cleaner than what it was before! i have all the conversations recorded for anyone that wishes to find out more details.
