The downside of the stay was the very likely infestation with bed bugs. I want to mention that bed bugs are in no correlation to cleanliness, they can get imported by guests and are very tricky to spot an get rid of, since most people would dismiss the bites as mosquito bites and wouldn't think much of it. Unfortunately after the first night in room 219 my boyfriend and I were covered all over in those typical row like mini bites and I started to get suspicious, so I started looking for bed bug poop stains (typically on mattresses and furniture) and found some spots where I would get highly suspicious. I told the reception and the manager/owner immediately came to inspect the room, took our concerns very seriously and moved us to a different, but just as nice room. He said he will look into it and change the matresses, if needed. The next night we didn't have as many new bites and dismissed the new itchy ones as mosquito bites. But upon leaving I opened a drawer while packing and saw another corner with what I would identify as typical bed bug poop stains, even though of course I cannot be sure, since I'm not a professional. On the inside of a pillowcase I also saw what the internet would describe as "ink like" blueish stain of bed bugs excrement. For us, the very itchy and many bites alone were proof enough, and I hope the hotel takes these concerns as serious as they said, since they seem to have an infestation in more then just one room. The very friendly owner also warned us about our luggage and to be careful about not bringing it home!

First thing I need to mention is that the stay overall in general was very pleasant, the hotel and room was very clean and nice, the food very good with an exceptionally nice breakfast buffet with many choices and the stuff was super friendly and always considerate and helpful, as well as the room maids, who did a really good job at keeping everything clean and tidy!

In the room kettle exists without instance coffee or teabags. I asked staffer for teabags they charged me one euro per black teabag! I paid two euro for two teabags! I never experienced any hotel around world! I booked half board but I paid to soft drink like water and juice in dinner time! No buffet for dinner. You have to order and waiting for finish your dinner within 2-3 hours! Kitchen provides food very slowly.

The location not far from New town and Old town, Marina de albufeira is 10 minutes walk, and there's 2 beaches near the hotel that is easy to reach by foot as well about 10 minutes walk to Sao Rafael Beach. We used uber taxi to go out, bus transport not good every 2 hours on time tables. taxi fares are cheap to me compared in UK. Faro airport to the hotel cost us 25-27 euro only and that is about 28 miles.

It’s probably a 3 star, but a good 3 star. The pillows were also a bit hit and miss, one not enough and two too many… but you get used to that very quickly.

The staff are the real bonus here! Super friendly and always wanting to make your stay enjoyable. The location is in a quiet area too which we enjoyed

Lovely and clean, very friendly staff. Though there was no evening buffet option (apart from one day) the food choices were good and tasted excellent. Lovely pool, was very quiet for us in early July. Location very quiet, but walkable to Marina and a bit further also to Albufeira

Very Relaxing break in a really nice hotel. Staff were friendly. Our room was lovely with a fab view of the sea. 10 mins walk to the marina. Rooms and hotel were spotless. Its an ideal location for exploring. Breakfast was perfect and catered for everyone.

The freezer in the room was not working, but they fixed as soon as I informed about that.

Staff very kind and prestative! The swimming pool were great although the pool indoor could be a little warmer. The beds very comfortable and the bedroom and bathroom very large. Nice view from the porsh. The breakfast included was delicious with many options. Very near of Arrifes beach and São Rafael beach.
