The upstairs pool area and bar was crowded with people hogging the whole area all day to suntan. I definitely think that times there should be booked and limited or else not everyone can get to enjoy the areas. Same with the indoor pools. Too many people for comfort or full enjoyment of everyone. This was in August.

Everything was good in the hotel. The breakfast was lovely.

Poor facilities, gym lacks equipment for size of hotel, no floor mats or free weights, pools overcrowded and noisy. Building work going on around hotel so quite noisy if window is open.

Staff were excellent, good bar and lounge area. Djogo makes great cocktails.

Disappointed to see people smoking and drinking in the roof top pool. There was also loud music playing. Pool was much smaller than photos lead you to believe. We decided not to use the pool although this was one reason for booking the property. It is also quite a distance from the centre of Porto this was our choice and we used the buses which were very reliable in the day. We used a taxi in the evening.

Excellent breakfast. We had a large room which was always cleaned promptly every day. Reception staff were very helpful.

The roof pool has an odd furniture set up and isn't that comfortable as a result- why not have simple loungers. Very strict policies at breakfast in terms of foot wear and bags.

Check-in was easy and the hotel and rooms are clean and well looked after. The indoor pool and jacuzzi are good.

The location is a little outside of everything. KFC, Lidl, Domino's and a few small shops within walking distance but need to uber the beach, shopping centres etc. Location is fine if just staying for a couple of days and you don't plan on moving around much

Outdoor pool is rooftop and seems to be more for sunbathers, very quiet and subdued up there. In door pool was much more fun for families. Hotel was spotless, food was nice and staff were very friendly and helpful.

For a 5* hotel, it felt more 4*. Could do with more loungers on the roof top and the white furniture it's very comfortable. Aircon needed in the breakfast room, it got very hot in there, as the indoor pool was unusable due to the heat level. The rooms were lovely but expect more for 5* hotel, showers go from hot to cold and the black out curtains don't cover the whole window. Also there aren't sockets on both sides of the bed for charging phones. Also these things are fine and you'll have a great stay but seen better quality elsewhere.

The staff are very attentive. Made us very welcome and were amazing during our whole stay. Always willing to help. The beds were amazing, some of the best sleep we've had in ages. The roof top pool was welcome and very clean with drinks allowed in the pool. All our food was lovely and no complaints. We had a great time.

Everything was spot on
