Great location right on the new town strip but somehow not noisy and felt safe and gated off. Clean rooms, very nice bathroom, cooking equipment and friendly staff :) (pool also wasn’t anywhere near as bad as other reviews suggest)

Only complaint is that the curtains let through a lot of light so i’d bring an eye mask next time

I booked to stay for 2 nights but the staff were trying to get me to leave after 1 day because they had no record of me booking for 2 nights

We had an awful week at Magna Oura. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed how shady the area looked. The apartment complex is supposed to be gated, but the gate was broken 9/10 times. Once we got to the reception, we were 'greeted' by an inhospitable man who barely spoke to us. Simply took my name, took photos of our ID's, asked for the deposit and gave us the key (we got 1 key for 3 people and had to demand more). No further explanation about the area, facilities, nothing. Our room was big and exactly as pictured, so we figured that our stay, despite the first impressions, would be okay. That is until we opened the dish washer and noticed that there were still dirty dishes left. Then followed the multiple cockroaches, the filthy terrace, uncomfortable beds, and broken airconditioning. We were supposed to have cleaning supplies but didn't have any. Our terrace had a table and ONE chair whereas other accommodations next to us had multiple chairs (most likely ours). We immediately notified reception and they promised to send a cleaning crew and provide new towels as we had to use a towel to clean up the water from the leaking airconditioning. We did receive the towels but no cleaning had been done nor did we receive cleaning supplies. Later during our stay, we once again had to explicitly ask for a cleaning crew to stop by. This time they showed up and all they did was tidy my mother's bed and nothing else. My mother immediately notified the reception of this. It seems that the cleaning crew doesn't even know how to clean the apartments as the reception lady had to explain the process to the cleaner. The cleaner was sent back and took out some trash and mopped the floors, without vacuuming. They also left the dirty dishes from the previous guests and didn't clean up the filth from our terrace despite the fact that we had specifically mentioned that being an issue. This wasn't all.

The location is right next to the strip, which makes it very accessible and feels safe as there is a gate on the entrance. Reception staff were very nice, the room had all the basics. Bathroom had recently been renovated so was nice, and there was a good TV. Air conditioning was very good.

There was no outdoor furniture as displayed in the photos, so we had no way of sitting on the balcony. The balcony was dirty, mostly because of poor drainage from the air conditioning system and there was no ashtray. The room itself had marks on the walls and one of the bedside lights was broken on arrival. Some basic amenities were missing, e.g there was only one wine glass. The door locks require a code, but doesn’t work consistently. It was also incredibly noisy - we both had to wear earplugs to sleep (I understand it’s next to the bars but it was still very noisy).

I loved the pool and how close it was to the new strip. The staff were amazing despite my friends broke a few things in the hotel. I paid them back and they were very forgiving. Perfect for a lads holiday

Nothing really

Friendly staff, nice clean room with good amenities, and close to the Strip but far away enough to be quiet when sleeping.

The walk to the hotel from the strip could be unnerving for women or solo travellers.

Very spacious and open, the location is right next to a lot of entertainment and social activities.

The lady at Reception Marina, she will do everything to make you feel comfortable, The apartment it was super clean. Next to the strip but no noise at all.
