Initially couldn't understand where's the reception. Would be useful to have a sign from parking lot considering that there are other buildings nearby.

Lovely country house with multiple apartments off the busy roads and cities, located in heart of Alentejo. Has it's own pool to enjoy. Nice breakfast with some local produce. Kind and welcoming staff and owners. Bonus, Comporta and other beautiful beaches are 30 minutes drive from there

The entrance is very beautiful. The style is quite “roquoquo” but matches with the style in general. The breakfast was very good. Lots of handmade dishes.

My daughter said: “you know what I like about this place? There are lots of bugs.” If you don’t have a burgeoning entomologist, you may not find that a plus.

What a charming farm hotel! We loved the traditional decor, the generous and varied breakfast (baked goods, meats, cheeses, eggs, fruit) and swam twice in the beautiful outdoor pool, all surrounded by cork trees!

Firstly, the access is good and well paved(no sketchy dirt roads). The rooms are very rustic but comfortable at the same time. There are parking spaces but not all have shade. The farm is surrounded with trees and the beautifull Alentejo landscape. There are some facilities like the tennis coutmrt which i did not use. The kids loved the playground and the big tree. The breakfast is not what you usually find in hotels, no need for crazy amount of selection when everything displayed is high quality. There is local sourdough bread which makes amazing toasts, quality cheese and chorizo, homemade marmalades. There were 2 kinds of homemade cakes that were also delicious. The staff was very helpull and friendly which improved even more the experience. You cant find better quality for money

The rooms were very dark as there was not a lot of lighting. The water pressure was very weak therefore the shower was just a dribble. It would have been good to have tea and coffee facilities in the rooms seeing the place is so far out of town and no where to go to buy a coffee or food. The bath towels were very old and needed updating. We found it was very difficult to find the property with the google map. Apparently you just have to put into Google maps Monte das Faias. Do not add cork farm hotel or it will send you to a place in the town.🤷‍♀️

A quirky place with lots of interesting furnishings and a peaceful place to stay. The rooms were spacious and clean. The evening meal was delicious and the staff very friendly.

We are vegetarians and can't eat the traditional Alentejano dishes. They tried their best to make some dishes we could eat and enjoy.

It is a lovely and quiet place, with many facilities. Pool, tennis court, table tennis, children's playground. It has a very classic interior. The staff and the owner were amiable. They came to talk with us daily, complimentary free good breakfast, and the possibility of having dinner on request. Realy Alentejano confifiality. We loved our stay!

We would have loved a bit of information in the room about the place and its history, perhaps the restaurant and how that works. Otherwise, just a cool place to visit.

We liked the atmosphere, the room was really quaint. We arrived a bit early and they let us into our room. At first we weren't sure what to do but later we walked around the grounds. Just an amazing place. Had lots of questions for the owner and he was so kind to answer them all. The meal we had that night was second to none and the staff were so incredibly kind. What a great experience!

This place is like a run down holiday camp in the middle of nowhere. The swimming pool area looked unkept and the pool was green around the top tiles. No sunshades. The rooms are tired the tv is so tiny on the wall we had no remote to work it. No tea or coffee in the room. We had an extremely noisy family 2 doors up and got no sleep. The towels were so thin and scratchy and the water took ages to come through hot.and the shower head kept falling off. Breakfast was very poor. The owner is kind but this place needs a complete reform.very expensive for what there is. We didn,t complete our stay.

The only thing we liked was the size of the room and the view accross the fields
