The prices are a bit high but the quality matches the price

The area is very quiet, the room was well equipped (fridge, kettle, heater) and the hosts - extremely nice. It's really close to the Mondaraz Castle (which you can see from the house). The breakfasts are varied and tasty.

There was a leak in the bathroom, and they smell a sewage

The view was spectacular, and since we were traveling together his two friends, we appreciate it each having a separate bedroom

Too expensive for what you get. The pool could have been cleaner. You have to go by car everywhere you want to go.

Really nice place with welcoming Marcia. Nice decor, good breakfast. The aminities were a bit on the old side, but working and clean. Mini-bar with cold drinks.

The cooked breakfast - scrambled egg was shown on a small written notice as if they didn’t really want you to know it was on offer.

Good but not exceptional breakfast. Oranges in the room free of charge and fridge drinks available at a small fee. Quiet place - lovely well maintained garden around the pool. Very old authentic farm buildings well maintained.

Great location with excellent view of Monsaraz castle. Nice layout which gave a sense of privacy to guests. Cute gardens with pretty flowers, little pathways and charming features. Refreshing swimming pool with nice balance if sun & shade.

The internet was horribly slow We couldn't get the tv to work, it didn't really matter though.

The location is lovely, peaceful and beautiful gardens. The breakfast was excellent Marcia was very friendly and helpful The shower was great.

A little cool in the evenings as no heaters came on at all and it was February! We did have a very large room so maybe a smaller would have been not so cool.

Great location to Monsaraz, which we loved. The lady that greeted us on arrival & organised breakfast was excellent. Very Clean property & the fridge & kettle in room was welcomed.

No onsite English speakers ( but it is in rural Portugal) so arranging a few things difficult - eg early check out. Breakfast starts late - 8:30am. No food facilities after breakfast. Dated decor including the bed in rooms

Nothing - I wish we could have stayed longer.

The atmosphere was relaxed and we felt welcomed. The room was large and had everything we needed. The garden was lovely to walk around. A very good breakfast was included.

Beautifully located, clean room, comfortable bed. The apartment is perfectly equipped with extra sheets and towels, it has A/C and a little fridge. The property has a nice outside area with a great pool and the breakfast in the morning is really good. Everything is made and maintained with love and attention to detail.

There was nothing we did not like! We had the most relaxing stay! We so wished we could have stayed longer!

Very quiet, and beautiful, with authentic country charm! The grounds are lovely with orange trees, flower gardens, and all with a view of Monsaraz’s medieval walls!

It was expensive for the state of the place. The drains in our bathroom stank, the sink leaked. There should have been a hairdryer in the bedroom but there wasn’t. The breakfast was poor.

The two women who worked there - looked like housekeepers - were v friendly & booked us an excellent restaurant.

It was a bit far away from everything you would have to have a car to get around. If you were to get a taxi, it was 60 euro for a 10 min ride to a restaurant, so you couldn't have a drink with your dinner

It was very peaceful and quite perfect for relaxing. The staff was lovely and very helpful if we needed anything

Bed was uncomfortable and horrible nylon sheets were unpleasant. Clearly the hotel is not being run as a going concern at the moment. But ok for the price I guess

Was OK but obviously cheapest products from Lidl. Could have been nicer regional products. Scrambled eggs cooked to order were well made
