The deep tissue massage bruised me! Asides from that, the stay was flawless.

Nothing, really.

Breakfast was amazing. The restaurant at dinner was very good as well. The room was spectacular and perfectly cleaned. The view is breathtaking and it was really one of the best hotels to rest where I've had the pleasure to stay. I can't say this enough: the staff is wonderful. I wish the spa had a comfy quiet area that you get at other spas other than the pool and treatment rooms. But I used my room for that... so not really a negative.

The hotel's facilities are modern, impeccably clean, and seamlessly integrated into the stunning landscape. The surrounding vineyards lend a unique and captivating flair to the entire property, creating a sense of being immersed in the heart of the wine region. Our room, with its private pool, was simply breathtaking. It was without a doubt the greatest hotel room I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The privacy and the ability to take a refreshing dip at any time were absolute highlights. Monverde is more than just a hotel; it's a true retreat. It offers the perfect opportunity to relax, disconnect from the fast-paced rhythm of daily life, and simply unwind amidst beautiful surroundings. I went with a friend who wanted a Portuguese wine experience, relax and good food. It was more than she expected. Everything was perfect. The restaurant is great. Delicious food and breakfast. Comfortable, clean and beautiful rooms with vineyard view. Friendly and very receptive staffs. For sure I’ll go back again.

Difficult to book experiences in advance . Ok when at the property. Not an issue to use bathing hat in swimming pool but seems unnecessary to charge an extra euros at a costly hotel.

The only unfortunate part of our stay was the sauna was out of order at the time.

We visited Monverde between our trips to Lisbon and Madrid. It was the perfect remedy in between all the traveling (especially with a toddler) to help us recharge and relax.
