The room needs a bit of renovation. The bath needs to be changed, was in a dangerous situation, broken and rusty. The curtains are old full of halls .

The property was beautiful and a good value for money too,has a good and friendly staff and had a beautiful breakfast every morning and had a good restaurant for dinner too.Its been 3 years that we stayed on this property every year we visited Portugal.Loved this place.

Needs a bit more TLC, bedrooms need deep cleaning. There where places in the bathroom where you can tell it hasn’t been wiped clean in a long time.

Wide variety of public rooms for lounging, gaming, drinks, watching sports. Indoor pool is nice but gets crowded easily. Sauna is a great add on as well. Banquet hall is nicely decorated with varnish wood and classical timeless feel. Dinner was nice and a la carte. Breakfast was good. We went for half board and we think it was worth it.

We had a wonderful stay at Onix Hotel in Viseu! Everything was great, especially the delicious breakfast with plenty of options. The parking was convenient, and we enjoyed the pool and sauna—though the sauna is small, it was a nice addition. One thing to note is that the hotel doesn’t provide slippers, and you need to bring some essentials to use the pool. Despite this, our experience was excellent, and we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Very friendly and helpful staff; comfortable bed; convenient location for our overnight stop-over; tasty home-style evening meal. Staff opened the breakfast room earlier than usual for our early morning departure, and the range of options on the buffet was superb.

There was some mould visible in a top corner by the window in the bedroom.

The room was very large and well-equipped, and the decor, although dated, had a certain charm. Had very tasty home-style dinner in the piano bar. Breakfast buffet was superb with extensive range of hot and cold items including bacon, cakes, pastries, cereals, cheese, ham, fresh juices. Staff were really helpful, including allowing us to have our breakfast before the official start time because we had to leave really early. Pool looked lovely, but unfortunately didn't have time to use.

I honestly can't complain about anything..

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were great, I loved that we had coffee and a kettle in our room. The balcony was one of my favourite things. But wow that breakfast exceeded my expectations. I was so delicious and so many options. I loved that they gave us eggs and bacon. I will definitely return.

1. There was no fridge in the room (although, the reception put our things in their own fridge in the kitchen (thanks a lot!)). 2. We asked for a quiet room, but got one facing the main street (however, it was not very noisy during the night and we slept really well). 3. We would have liked some vegetables for breakfast (at least some tomatoes and cucumbers), but there were none:-(

Very spaceous and comfortable room with large windows. Spaceous parking lot, reception 24/7, comfortable beds, fast internet, a nice-looking swimming pool. The hotel seems to have had it's best days some 10 years before, but it is spaceous, well-kept and comfortable. Everything was just fine - we definately recommend!

Receptionist not very often at workplace. Had to wait sometimes. In the description of my room said "room with balcony" I didn't receive a room with balcony. But not bother with that.

Used as a stop over point on a motorcycle tour of Northern Spain / Portugal. Reasonable room and meals, very good value for money. Location not great as nothing around the hotel but didn't really expect anything as only using it as a stop over. Would recommend for that.
