United KingdomBreakfast was pretty average. It was included in the price of the room so I can't tell if it's good value. The choice of food was ok but the fruit juice wasn't very nice (too watery), the coffee from the machine didn't taste like proper coffee and they ran out of some items (like croissants/donuts) before the end of the breakfast session.
The general parts of the hotel are lovely. The main hallway that has most of the rooms off it is very well presented with a water feature and lots of cosy seating areas. The room was nice and spacious but was a bit dark so needed a ceiling light instead of just lamps. The location is good - it has direct access to the beach and is at the quieter end of a busy road with lots of bars/restaurants/shops.

United KingdomJust a quick note, as it’s not very clear on the booking page - drinks aren’t included with dinner as part of the half board option. That’s all drinks, even still water, so you’ll need to pay extra for those. Thought I’d flag it in case it catches you off guard too - we’ve not come across this at other hotels before. Also, we noticed quite a lot of little flies in the room when we arrived - especially in the bathroom at first, and then later we spotted them all over the curtains too. We didn’t have any food in the room and while they didn’t bite or buzz around us, it wasn’t the nicest thing.
There’s so much to love about this place - I’d definitely recommend it if you’re after a more chilled experience. The food was absolutely delicious and really high quality, the hotel was clean and the views were just stunning, with direct access to a gorgeous beach. Some of the highlights for us was the lovely clean pool and the live music during meals - soft piano at breakfast and some really chilled live bands at dinner on some evenings. There wasn’t any loud entertainment, which we quite liked, though it might be nice if they offered a bit more variety in the evenings - maybe the occasional show or something a little different now and then.
