Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWiFi wasn’t the best it cut out a lot. Food and drink is expensive if you eat in the restaurants that require reservations, but that’s expected in places like this.
Everything was lovely, we stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment and you had everything you would need while staying there. Lots of space for us even with a toddler and a cot. Very family friendly. Also good to know the super market is right across the road from the main entrance and has everything you will need in there. The Japanese restaurant was amazing defo recommend a visit.

United StatesThe room was odd in that there was a large soaking tub in the middle of the entrance to the bathroom. It was unnecessary and was in the way. I doubt many people use it. The rook also had a full kitchen ( unnecessary for most guests, a shortage of storage for clothes and a washer/dryer that we couldn't figure out and neither could the staff. Some language difficulty with housekeeping staff but very nice.

United KingdomThe fact that the resort does not have kitchen of it's own.
The environment was fantastic. The staff excellent. The resort does not cater for food directly but there were different restaurants dotted around the resort to pick and choose from. Walking distance to Local shop just outside the resort's gate for all other needs. The staff were so helpful and excellent WoW!!. The beach was great. The weather was not too cold nor too warm during the Christmas period, there was no need to have any jackets.

United KingdomSome of the restaurants were closed due to being low season, which meant eating out for dinner was very limited to only two restaurants to choose from, and limited variety for vegetarians. It basically meant having to have pizza or pasta every night. There was also no dinner buffet, thankfully I brought food with me for the baby so wasn't too much of an issue. Also, check-in at the Pine Ocean Suites took 35 mins as there was only one receptionist who was very slow, ignored us, and didn't bother to call for another colleague to help (the bell-boy had to do that as he was so embarrased at how long they were taking). Nor did Reception bother to sit us down and welcome us with a drink (as in other hotels) and explain there would be a slight wait. We had to instead stand in line, with an exhausted and tired baby after a long journey and delayed flight. Almost spoilt the whole arrival for us! Luckily, other staff members were great and very friendly, especially the staff member who helped with our luggage.
Apartment style room was great, fully equipped kitchenette and very clean and comfortable, which was very useful with a small baby. Had everything we needed, so was easy to make lunch and formula for the baby. It was light, bright and airy. They provided a cot and high-chair for the baby, and also there were black-out curtains in all the rooms. There was a bathtub in the bathroom, again very handy with a baby. Resort is beautiful in a great location and we were able to walk around everywhere on site. I would definitely return here again.

United KingdomWe were surprised that the club cars and golf buggies were still petrol powered and not electric vehicles. This was noticeable as there were club cars constantly around the resort which were loud and had fumes. In 2024, in a luxury resort we would have expected that these would have been transitioned to electric vehicles. We expected the food to be expensive given the location but the drinks and food were extremely expensive €9 for iced coffee, €5 for can of coke etc and each bill also included a 10% suggested tip. Whilst tipping is fine for a meal with great service it was surprising that when walking to a bar to get an expensive drink you were still asked to tip. That said you have facilities to cook in the accommodation and can bring your own drinks to the pool etc.
Pine cliffs is what you would expect for a 5 star establishment, the staff were very friendly, food and drinks were brilliant and everything readily available which was perfect for us travelling with our 5 month old baby. The apartment was well equipped and travel cot and high chair provided. Supermarket nearby and would recommend a short drive/Uber to the larger Aldi/Lidl in Albuferia as much more selection available. The real stand out for us was how brilliant the cleaners were - our apartment was always spotless after their visit. Shout out to Sandra at Portofino who made us feel very welcome. The gym was well equipped. Pools were well maintained and lots of loungers available. We would have appreciated if one of the pools was heated (especially the kids pools) as was a little cold to take a small baby in but maybe this was that we visited later in the season.

United Arab EmiratesThere are no walking paths outside the grass areas and most cars drive at fast speeds internally which doesn't make you feel safe to leave your kids alone. They need to install cameras or larger speed bumps. The gyms are too small and if you're the type that wakes up early to hit the gym, it's most likely overcrowded. The padel court is not free. The restaurants are good, but priced at "great'.
Impeccable hygiene and clean rooms with comfy beds. The nature & beach are just beautiful. Lots of pools and grass lounges and several restaurants to choose from. Great for a few days for families to just chill & relax.
