We visit many times and are always welcomed kindly by staff, the accomodation is clean and fresh.

Unfortunately there were a few same sex groups there this time which took the enjoyment of the pool away somewhat as we are a family and have always gone here because it was a family environment. Unfortunately some of the behaviour from some groups took away our enjoyment of the pool on occasion.

The location is a little out the old and new town but perfect for a quiet little complex. The staff are very helpful and can’t do enough for you.

I have been visiting for ten years now , love Pinheiros it’s a secret gem where you can fully relax , staff are great and always pleased to see you and the food is exceptional whether breakfast , a snack or dinner . I always request a villa with a roof terrace and sit with my morning Tea enjoying the views

I like everything about it

The villa was perfect for me and my friends, it had everything we needed, very spacious and a lovely terrace with BBQ too. The roof terrace topped it off with a great view.

The facilities and pool staff were fab however we had such a bad experience with the receptionists. They were completely and utterly rude and it just ruined the holiday for all of us unfortunately. At the start of the holiday we got told check out inspection would be the day before we left as we were leaving early Saturday morning - to which we were fine with. So we had everything tidied, cleaned by 4pm Friday evening as that’s the time we were told they were going to come and check over. However we then had to wait in our villa for them for an hour and half until we went to speak to the receptionist and she said we need to be out the villa by 5:30am Saturday and then they will come to check out (baring in mind we weren’t leaving until 7am and technically could have the villa till 11am which is the latest check out time). We spoke politely to them explaining that we have been waiting for a long time now and that we were promised that there would be an inspection Friday evening so asked if it could just be done there and then however the receptionist started being really rude to us and said on the phone to security that we were threatening to punch her (we were obviously not doing this) and threatened to us that she was going to call the police. This really put a downer on the end of the holiday and I would not go back to this place even though everything else was great - but this just ruined it unfortunately. I would not recommend simply because of the receptionists as we had other bad experiences with them in the week too.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom villa, it was close to the pool and reception, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, villa was lovely and clean and spacious

Would be nice to have 2 full bathrooms with loo and sink in each, second bathroom was a shower room only

The villa was very clean and the outdoor garden was well kept and pleasant to relax in. The pool area and restaurant was again clean. All staff were very welcoming and considerate.

The villa needed a more comfortable seating for outdoors, having to use dining chairs wasn't the best. There was also large groups of single sex parties, which seams to contradict the policy of such groups being allowed.

We loved the ocean view from our balcony and the pool area, lawn areas and restaurant were kept clean and great quality. The staff at the restaurant were very polite.

We have stayed here before but were disappointed on this occasion to have an insects issue around the whole villa. Ants crawling on our beds daily, ants crawling on the kitchen worktop, ants crawling on the floors in every room and bedside units. There are lots of holes that ants manage to crawl through on a daily and it takes a lot of cleaning effort from us the customers to clear them away. There should be a fumigation system in place not to have such an issue. We found cockroaches in the bathroom, were moved to another villa but there was still an ants problem. We put it down to poor finishing work on the build as not all panels are sealed. It wasn’t ideal having one of the staff justifying finding cockroaches because it’s a “tropical country”. I am from a tropical country and do not have those issues in our residence. Also the cleaners didn’t always sweep all areas which added more work for us to do on a daily. We also didn’t have our bin changed, which left us with no choice but to have litter kept on the kitchen table. Noisy customers at the restaurant during the night which wasn’t ideal. Noisy neighbours who staff spoke to after complaining about them, then the noise stopped that night. We didn’t want to keep asking for help, but the noise was daily, the walls are very thin so if you hear a chair pulled, it goes through your whole body 😅 We would return if we have reassurance all the above isn’t a continuous issue.
