Check in not until 6pm but our room was ready by 4.30pm so we didn't have too long to wait and it was ok to shower and use facilities before the room was ready so didnt affect us too much

The only downside is the dorm key system. It works fine, but if even one person doesn’t understand it, it can mess things up a bit.

Just before heading to the hostel, I read a lot of negative reviews and arrived with a lot of anticipation. In reality, everything went smoothly. Even though check-in starts at 6 PM, they told me I could check in as soon as my room was ready, probably around 4 PM, and let me use the common areas while waiting. The place is very clean, the common spaces are spacious, and breakfast is a buffet with tons of variety. The staff were really friendly. What impressed me most is that the hostel clearly listened to past feedback and adapted to their guests’ needs. I didn’t experience any of the issues mentioned in reviews. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this place.

The shared bathroom was a bit out of shape and not that comfortable to use, especially the showers.

Lamp in the room, i could hardly read in the bed, phone charging possibility is not close to bed. The style is a little bit like a hospital or school, but in total it was correct.

Great breakfast included. Location is on the Fishermen's trail.

The smell in the bathroom. It was a separate apartment with a separate bathroom and kitchen, the smell of the moist was very strong. The floor all over the apartment wasn't very clean, but I was prepared and had slippers:).

Good location, staff was very helpful. Breakfast was very fair, but if you are on the way to the fisherman's trail, a cup of coffee and toast with cheese and jam is ok. They did not have anything warm (eggs or similar). In general, spending the night in between hiking was ok for the price.

The room key was shared with all the people in the room, so the room couldn't actually be locked completely. They say they don't have the key for the personal belongings locker anymore so you have no way to lock your stuff. The bed could be more comfortable and creak less. Toilets and showers are shared, I didn't find them downright dirty, but they deserve a renovation

That was cool! I felt like I went back in time 40 years! No but seriously, for the price, I actually thought it was pretty good. Including the breakfast, which was pretty basic, but at least I didn't have to worry about anything and it was actually enough

3 weeks before I could only book a double room. I emailed that it I won't mind to have another guest in the room. So I would not have to pay more than 50€ for a bed in this old-school-accomodation. No reaction although the house was complete as the reception said.

Great for the Fishermans Trail. Located on the trail. Small town so everything is near. Beds were comfortable and the linens smelled fresh and they were crisp and white. Spaces are a bit tired but not in the areas that matter. Shower was bursting with hot water and plenty of pressure. Rooms have no A/C so that is only problem as it heats up. There was a window but no screen to keep out the bugs. Space heater provided but saw no fan. Breakfast was varied and ample. Cook was polite and delightful. We dined on fresh dessert breads, fruit, toast with honey and jams, cheeses and meats, coffee, tea and cocoa dispenser was running.

Breakfast time - they say it's at 8:30 but in reality most people request it to be earlier so by the time we got there a lot of the food was gone. Still enough to eat but less choice. Perhaps it should just be moved to 8am for everyone? In May everyone was a hiker so that would make sense. Bathrooms - they were good and enough showers for women but one of the men's shower rooms was closed so there was a small amount of wait (not a big problem but a bit annoying when everyone's been hiking all day.)

Cool building, good kitchen and wash facilities. Friendly staff. Perfect for one night as hikers. Close to town. Big room. Breakfast was good. Overall a positive experience.

It’s got a very nice vibe to it. Lovely welcoming, helpful, responsive staff set the tone. Lots of hikers from Fisherman’s Trail. Yes, the facilitate aren’t sparky new but they are just fine. Good shower. Comfortable beds. Sunny outdoor space to hang out your laundry. Excellent breakfast which was a real pleasure! Thank you for lovely stay!
