Overall the house, including the kitchen and bathroom, was a bit shabby

Very comfortable and welcome bed at the end of a long day on the Camino. The lady in charge was very kind and welcoming.

The room was very cold at night. Extra blankets were provided but they didn’t help much. A small electrical heater in the room would go a long way!

The hosts were extremely friendly and made me feel welcome. The room was a nice size with a view of the sea. Plenty of plug points in the room. The accommodation was cheap.

I think the level of cleanness could be higher. The bins were completely full everywhere when we arrived (in the bathroom, in the kitchen..). There were hair on the floor and in the bin. In the kitchen, there was mess.

The host was nice, she did not speak english but she translated everything and she made sure we understand and are comfortable. The room is very spacious, you get the ocean view. Overall for the amount of money and one night it is a very good option.

Communication response was sporadic, so I had to try multiple avenues to feel confident that my reservation was confirmed and how to access the property.

I think this place has had a bad rap.. it's a hostel at the end of the day and a cheap one at that, access was easy, private room with sheets and towels, and a shared bathroom, all of which were as good if not better than an Albergue - especially if you consider it's a private room.. I'd stay again

I was not let in. I arrived at 9.10 (instructions said up to 11). Admittedly I had not advertised time but didnt think compulsory and as walking didn't know time. I buzzed and no response. I rang to say arrived and was told just a moment. I waited a few mins and re rang. The phone went to answer machine. I was left in the dark in a small village alone as a female and as not Portuguese did not know how to get a taxi. It was a frightening situation for me. I await to see if I get a refund.

Unfortunately nothing I like it. No contact with owner. Metal gate was closed. I try to call....no answer. I been on my way like pilgrim. Extremely tired.

This place is more like a refugee shelter than a hostel, I had to leave a day earlier because I got eaten by bed bugs!! Horrible I wanted to ask for a refund but I guess they need the money to feed the permanent "guest" they have.... Way to overpriced for what they "offer". NOT RECOMMEND!!

- very difficult access: electrical gate was not answered for several minutes so I, a 6) year old woman, climbed over a fence to gain access - no toilet paper and the toilet lid fell off when lifted - bed I slept on was rock hard and disrupted sleep, though other one was ok - hosteller was not available when needed (eg no toilet paper) - shower stall not clean -grounds and yard filled with broken equipment, junk ….

There was very little to like about this property. Even the luggage transport people advised against staying here - except that I’d already booked and paid for the rooms

We didn't want to go all the way to Caminha, so we found accommodation in Moledu and it was a mistake. You don't just share the bathroom with the guests, but also with the residents of the house. The house is absolutely not soundproof and the permanent residents have absolutely no regard for paying guests. There was music playing downstairs at 5am and the rafters were shaking. There was a language barrier between us and those who look after the house, which could have been solved with instructions in an email or a printed version on the bedside table. Instead, we didn't even know if the water was potable. I apologize for the negation, but I really don't recommend the accommodation.

There didn't seem to be anyone there to deal with guests. This is clearly some kind of homestay, which was not clear when we booked. There is a gated entrance - we couldn't get in, then we couldn't get out, then we couldn't get in, then we couldn't get out. No one spoke any English, and we weren't sure they'd been expecting guests. The WiFi password didn't work. The facilities are very basic. The keys in the doors are stiff - I got trapped in the bathroom. We were woken early by someone else's alarm. The main decorations are paintings of crying children. We felt lucky to make it out alive.

You get what you pay for, and this was the cheapest but also worst place we stayed at in Portugal. No tissues or shampoo in the shared bathroom, the double bed was small and uncomfortable, and the whole house was noisy as it seems like every door had to be slammed to be closed.
