Clean, quiet, friendly. A wonderful orchard surrounding you can walk through. Was a perfect spot for resting after a day of driving. Cold Sagres next to the pool was exactly what I needed. Wish I had more time to explore the area but I will be planning it for my next trip. Breakfast was wonderful.

Amazing place! Our host was super friendly and always available to help. The breakfast is really good with homemade jams and local products. I've found really interesting the decoration of the place specifically the living-room felt like being in a Castle!

There was not anything in particular. The shower stall was fine for me, but as it is small which may be an issue for a bigger person. The pool was not ready to be used on my arrival, but that was quickly sorted and perfectly clean and usable the next day.

The location was excellent for visiting many historial sites within easy driving distance including Belmonte, Monsanto, Sortelha, Penamacor and Indanha-a-Velha. The quinta is a working farm with beautiful fruit trees that were full of cherries when I visited and they provided a full bowl for my enjoyment in the room every day. My room had a small balcony which was perfect for sitting and watching the sun set over the mountains. The room is very well equipped with a comfortable bed, full size closet, chairs, table and small refrigerator. The bathroom has all the usual amenities including a hairdryer. The accommodation is owned and run by a lovely couple who made me feel at home ensuring I was comfortable and well looked after, including providing me with a jug of hot water in the evenings for my coffee. Breakfast was a true delight with a spread of bread, ham, homemade jams and cakes and also cheese from the region. The room was spotless and the pool area was delightful for relaxing either in the shade or sunbathing. There are also a few short, but nice hiking trails close by which are great for an early morning walk.

Difficult to find, better signage at the main road and a correction on Google Maps would be appreciated. Was a bit of a language barrier but it all worked out in the end.

Amazing baked goods and breakfast was spectacular! Host was very accommodating and hospitality was appreciated.

Super friendly hosts with whom we had some great discussions about agriculture. They accepted us into their home and family and explained much about Belmonte and the area. Hope to return someday. We had a couple of restful and quiet nights there.

We were made to feel incredibly welcome from the start. You almost feel like part of the family! We had a spacious room with Aircon and a huge bathroom. Breakfast was great and different every day. The setting is beautiful and so peaceful. Great location to explore the Sierra de Estrella. We would return in a heartbeat

"I recently had the pleasure of staying atQuinta Formosa, and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. The owners was very welcoming and friendly. The location is fantastic, with easy access to Belmonte, and the atmosphere in the apartment is warm and inviting. The apartment itself was well-appointed and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed to make my stay enjoyable. I especially appreciated the breakfast that was reach and delicious.
