Our room was in the next street not actually where it is shown in the picture. The rooms are very dated and could do with being upgraded a little.

It was very close to the centre and easy to park nearby. The owners were very helpful and caring.

This is not a negative point, but rather advice for future guests: if you plan to stay at the hotel during city celebrations in the central square, it may be quite noisy.

Perfect location, right in the city centre, surrounded by many cafés and restaurants. The room is not luxurious, but for the price and considering the location, it is an excellent option. A simple breakfast (coffee/orange juice/toast with ham and cheese) is included in the room price. The room also has fully functional air conditioning. The hotel staff are polite and welcoming.

Centrally located a 10 minute walk from the central bus station. A perfect location in Vila Real itself and good value stay. We arrived at 10.30 in the morning and were able to leave our bag in our room with no problem as it was already available. All the staff were pleasant and very helpful despite their not speaking English …. we got by without any problems at all.

There was nothing blocking noise from outside the room, like people on the stairs, outside wind etc..

It can get a bit noisy at night due to the heavy doors. I wouldn’t stay longer than a couple of nights, but honestly, why would you stay more than a couple of nights in Vila Real?

This was a last-minute booking, and it turned out to be a great choice! The owner is a very sweet and welcoming lady. The location is perfect, right in the middle of Vila Real. The accommodation is simple but very clean, with everything you need for a comfortable night’s sleep. Plus, the breakfast was excellent, especially for the price. Highly recommend!

The man who initially came to us on check in was very grumpy, he wasn’t much better at breakfast. You get brought what he brings you to eat, ham and cheese in a baguette and a croissant. Unable to park motorbikes outside but free parking a 5 minute walk away and it’s opposite the Police Station. The Police thought it funny we were locking the bikes up.

Check in is in the cafe underneath. The lady was nice and we managed despite the language differences. The rooms are a little tired but comfortable enough and with plenty of beds. 2 out of the 3 rooms booked had 3 beds in. No hairdryer in the rooms. Very central and despite there being some sort of celebration going on the room was quiet.

I liked cozy greetings, welcomed owners and theire cafe with excellent breakfast. Also view from the window and great location in the city center. Interior in the room was like in my grandma house or at the village, so it was comfy

the walls were very sensitive. I was able to here all the noise from next doors. e.g from the personal that started cleaning in the morning. that was somewhat annoying.

Nothing, it was a good place to stay. Although I had to park my motorcycle opposite the room and we were in the town centre it was very safe.
