The room was too small for two people, and the bathroom was relatively small as well; I understand it was added later. The manager mentioned that we would receive a discount on the parking ticket if we parked our car across from the hostel. However, when we were checking out, the manager was nowhere to be found. He posted his phone number on the door, but since we were deaf, we couldn’t call him. I wish we had his text number so we could contact him more easily.

The location was okay. We were glad to have a parking garage and a supermarket nearby. The manager was incredibly nice and even offered to carry our bags to the room. To be honest, we were a bit disappointed when we first arrived. However, the next day, we set out to explore and were relieved to find many places nearby. Coimbra is a walkable city, which is a plus!

It said we will have “toiletries”- but it was only 2 sachets of shower gel and a cup for toothbrushes. I’d say maybe to not include that in the advertisement as usually it suggests that the hotel actually has toiletries for guests like for example: one use toothbrushes, tiny toothpaste, small bar of soap or hand cream / body cream as well as shampoo, conditioner and shower gel/shower cap. Also the toilet needed some refreshments as tiles were super old. Another thing is our blind didn’t work- it’s okay for one night but if someone would stay 2-3 nights may get annoying.

The bed was very comfortable! :) also the location was great as you had a short walk to be in the central area and also you have a supermarket just opposite and a great pizza place just straight ahead!:)

The walls in my room were a little dirty and the place felt dark… maybe some new lightbulbs in the hallways to brighten it up a little?

Excellent location across from the grocery store and near the river. Staff were very helpful and even found me some information about the farmers strike (which was blocking a Main Street in town), printed it and slid it under my door. The facility wasn’t fancy but was functional.

The shower was small and was impossible to keep the curtain inside and stop water overspill onto bathroom floor, but it wasn’t a flood. Bathroom also very small. But everything functioned and it’s a budget hotel, so no complaints.

Staff were very nice; welcoming, helpful and polite. The facilities were as described and the room was comfortable.

The room was tiny, there was almost no space to stand properly in the bathroom, no space to even open a suitcase. It smelt when the AC was turned on. The shower curtain wouldn't close properly so the water flowed down onto the room floor. The bathroom was quite mouldy. There's only 1 power outlet in the room to use (the bedside lights couldn't even be unplugged to use their power outlets).

The staff was very friendly. Ok wifi. Good location, opposite a supermarket. The shower had strong pressure and hot water came out quickly - no need to wait. There's a room next to the reception with microwave/cutlery/fridge... for guests to make their own food.

No elevator so was difficult with multiple suitcases. The bathroom was very cramped and the shower was not hot enough.

There was nothing to dislike about the property. However, If the guest rooms were provided with a space heater for the winter, the experience would be even better.

Great location being right opposite the car park & major supermarket, & within walking distance to all major attractions. Check in staff very friendly and helpful. Common dining room was cute and provided all amenities to be able to have our own meals there with complimentary tea and coffee. Very clean and good sturdy beds.
