We had an excellent stay at the Spot. Sandra, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. The house was spotless and beds were comfortable. We loved being able to use the pool after a long, warm day on the Camino. We purchased the breakfast for €6 and it was very good. Would definitely stay here again.

    Nothing. It was great.

You open the door and find yourself in a small oasis, beautifully decorated common living room with kitchen, and incredible garden with pool. We were walking the Camino and we couldn't have found a better place to spend the second half of our day. The host is great

The Spot Ofir is named after the CEO and canine, Spot. I have walked several different paths on the Camino do Santiago, and this is the first time I got a stamp on my pilgrim credential from a dog. Like any good CEO Spot has delegated the day to day responsibilities to the very competent Sandra, who speaks Portuguese, English and French.....she may speak other languages (Spanish?) but didn't do so while I was there. Having Sandra deal with the daily routine chores, frees Spot's for important tasks including greeting guests, boosting morale, sleeping and dreaming about chasing rabbits. Sandra lives about 200 meters away, so when I ran the door bell at 2:00 hoping to drop off my bag and go for lunch, her phone rang at her home and she headed straight over to check me in. The house used to belong to Sandra's grandparents but about five years ago she converted it to a guest house/albergue. The place is super clean, comfortable and looks just like the photographs. A washing machine and dryer are available for Euros 3 each, but there is also a sink with soap in the laundry room to use for hand washing and ranks to hang the clean clothes on. I was in a room of four people in two sets of bunks. Clean sheets, a quilt and towel are included in the price. For an extra Euros 6 you can purchase breakfast, which is available from 7:30. It has typical continental fare and saves time figuring out an alternative.

This is NOT a complaint, just an observation.....I hope Spot is savvy enough to recognize what a wonderful employee he has in Sandra, and awards her a large bonus payment at the end of the season, just saying!!

We had stayed before so knew what to expect. That's why we returned. Sandra is the best always available for a chat and advice. Plenty of good cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The garden and pool were very welcome as weather hot.

Nothing to dislike. Good b&b to stay for a few days. Able to find parking in street nearby.

The space is a thoughtfully designed common space for the extended family of pilgrims, not the down and dirty albergue feeling, but clean, safe, and friendly.

    not many services nearby.

Great facilities, including pool. The owner was very helpful and friendly.

The room had no air conditioning nor fan. Poor air circulation, too hot for August.

Close to great restaurants recommend by host.

Only a couple small things. Stayed in 4 person dorm on main floor. Bathroom just outside. Automatic light would come on when I opened dorm door & light would flood sleepers. Plastic covers on mattresses. I understand why they are use and value bed bug protection. But sleeping when it’s so hot out — even at night — is hotter.
