Good location. Hotel was clean. Lovely, super friendly receptionist who gave us advice on places to take our 4 year old son (sorry I didn’t catch your name! She had dark hair and spoke English extremely well!) Air con in room was great during the heat wave!

The only thing that I was not happy about was the fact that the hotel did not agree for me to move my trip to another date in October (I had an emergency and I was not able to come at this time in June). Despite quite a few requests and phone calls with the manager of Hotel Umu, my request was declined. I am glad that my friend Maria Jose was able to stay there (luckily she lives nearby).

It was clean, quiet, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick. I was able to walk to nearby cafés and shops. Breakfast was simple but fresh, with enough variety to start the day. While the hotel is older in style, it’s well maintained and offers great value for money. The desk in the room was a bit small. I managed to get work done however, it was a bit tight trying to fit both a laptop and a notepad. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel."

The shower is super tiny. Sometimes cheese or other things were missing at breakfast. The staff does not provide full information about hotel facilities. Hotel is located outside of the city center.

The stay in the hotel was average, okay. The breakfast was nice and there was variety although sometimes cheese or chocolate sirup where missing and the waiter care more about cleanliness of the tables than adding what was missing. The staff at the recepetion was nice but did not inform us about pool. gym and conditions which aply there only after request.

The only complaint is that it was a bit far from the Camino for us pilgrims but we caught the bus back to the CBD. Everything else was great.

The property was fantastic and located within walking distance of the laundromat and supermarket. Breakfast was also delicious. Maria was a delightful staff member who helped us locate the Post Office and the bus to get there. She was wonderful and very friendly.

The rooms are ok for the price, and clean. I just don’t like not having eating and drinking options inside. If it wasn’t the only hotel available at those dates, I wouldn’t have picked this one just for that reason.

It’s good value for money if we are on our own, to spend a night or two. The rooms are cosy and clean but definitely not the standard I would pick for a romantic/family getaway. Close to grocery stores, which is helpful because there’s only a vending machine with some snacks. Staff is great and helpful.

Not the best value for money. It's a regular 2-3 star hotel, good breakfast etc, but there's not many options in Santarem, so it ends up being a bit more expensive than I would personally like.

The room was a bit loudy at night, and the equipments are not the best at the room. There was not available connector and electicity next to the bed, only next the entrance. The balkony is really small and the door of the balkony can not close normally

The hotel had sone years ago a "painting renovation". Bud noisy aircondition, simple 2glass windows and full paint at bath room are are making a real renovation usefull.
