The noise was too loud outside we couldn’t sleep well, and the bed was uncomfortable unfortunately.

The reception girl was nice, the location is perfect everything is near : bars and restaurants and brunch places.

There was a LOT of noise from the bars outside, and it goes until 2am and longer with a lot of drunks - mainly Brits - screaming and yelling most f the night.The noise of the music could even be okay if it was good, but muchbof the singng was terrible. But on the other hand, you have to expect it given the location. Still, if noise bothers you for sleeping, then this is NOT the place for you. There is also no blind or curtain on the window over the door, so there's is light from the outside coming in. Apart from this, the bathroom is small and lacks any hooks to put clothes or towels. The owner is not particularly welcoming or helpful.

It was well located close to all the shops and bars in town, and not far to the beach. The room was a good size. The bed and pillows were both very good. The young woman who takes care of entry (at the drinks cart next to the door) was lovely and helpful (much better than the owner.in the bars downstairs).

We had a horrible stay here! We had insects/bugs in our beds and on the old disgusting wood panel attached to the wall. I woke up with a lot of massive bites on my body from the bugs we had on the bed and when I wanted to complain when we checked out, we were told to call the boss who never answered. I then sent messages which they replied to until I sent them proof of the bugs and bites and they have since been ignoring me. Terrible and unprofessional customer service. The condition of this property is disgusting. It is old, dirty, mouldy and uncared for. The paint is coming off the walls. There was mould on the walls, dirt in the shower and around the grouting. There was a horrible smell as soon as you entered the room. The WiFi didn’t work in our bedroom. The door is opened with a code and as the WiFi often doesn’t work, you sometimes can’t get in your room! The legs of the bed on the horrible and uncomfortable bed frame aren’t screwed in, so when you move on the bed slightly, the whole thing collapses. I would not recommend this place to anyone!! Please do not stay here!

Our room smelled like sewers for our whole stay. It smelled so bad I vomited twice. When bringing this problem up to the owner, the answer was that the room was clean and nothing could be done to better our situation (we asked for a room change but that wasn’t even considered). The lack of care for clients and attention to problems was incredible. To all the other people looking for an accommodation: do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

The staff are so friendly can't do enough for you. Especially the owner Pedro so helpful and a great host nothing was too much trouble. Beds are so comfortable the food is great, and when you are staying at the guest house you get a discount on food and drink. My friend that stayed was working full time and we hope to stay here long term.

The whole place felt very tired. It was clean, but the bathroom wasn't the best.

The room was sound proof. The beds were comfortable. We had a fridge that we hadn't expected, but we're grateful for. The aircon was essential! Great location for walking to the beach, but a very rowdy/full of stag/hen parties. I wouldn't go back with my children.

We arrived on time to location and had no method of entry. A person at a nearby bar approached us and asked if we were guests. The person proceeded to contact someone with no communication to us. After 30-45 minutes we were led by another person to the door and given to access code. I entered and proceeded to the room. The room had a stench of couped up moisture and mildew so intense that I could not breathe. I looked around and the building inside looked like an old brothel. In addition, there were picture frames hung on the walls of young girls in provocative positions. I was extremely uncomfortable at this point and I left quickly. Ultimately, the pictures I saw when I booked were not like the actual location, the greeting was completely unacceptable, and the guesthouse was 100% uninhabitable.

The room had no window, the mattress was very hard, not very comfortable. The shower had hairs on the floor. We turned on the air con as it was 35 degrees in Portugal and within 15 minutes the air con had leaked all over the bed. The bed was absolutely soaked at the top, woke up next morning feeling quite unwell. There was a leak outside the door to the room which meant there was a bucket right outside the door. I never met the person who owns the property. The staff down stairs were not very helpful or polite. They did not have a proper place to store luggage but it stated on the website they did so didn’t feel like my luggage was very safe. We also wanted to change when we arrived and was told to change in a toilet that was not clean and smelt really bad.
