How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

my 1st room was in the lower ground, below the level of main entrance. it was nice and big, but was very noisy one night due a cat having zoomies in the laundry room above mine, and i got moved to another room. The new room was on the street level, smaller, with strange pillar in the middle and a bathroom door that cant open fully.
great location, there are nice rooms with big windows. staff were wonderful. on the lower floor my view was the jungle with lots of birds outside my window. my 1st room had a nice big bathroom. everything in the room felt new.

I requested a room with a garden view but recieved a room facing the street. I asked to change but the garden view room was much smaller. From time to time there were little flying ants that appeared out of no where and then disappear.
The room was large. It had a kitchenette and dining table. The bed was firm and the water pressure was good. The location is a little out of the way but an easy walk to the main road.

What I assume were bed bugs in the first room I was in.
Reasonable for one of the cheapest options in Palau. Spacious room. A/C worked well. Staff were friendly and helpful, including arranging car hire

It was a bit of a hike to get to the main part of the city but close to the museum, aquarium and Long Island Park Beach.
My room was amazingly quiet and although dark, it made for a great night's sleep. The air conditioner worked really well. Bed was comfortable. It was a bit lacking in amenities: no shampoo, no kettle in the room. But I was able to use the urn in the kitchen which was useful. The room was cleaned regularly and although a bit old, was clean. Pretty good value for money, better value than some of the hostels in town.

Only stayed 1 night before moving to another hotel organised by a Group Tour. But comfortable bed, good shower. Air con worked good & not too noisy. Then just before left very helpful maid cleaned my leg up after I had been bitten by a dog nearby!

It’s an older motel so it’s showing it’s age
Front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. It’s not fancy and you can’t expect much for the price, but it was clean, I felt safe, good hot water and a/c worked. I would stay again

a bit of a walk to the main street where the shops and restaurants are located; no free wifi but they sell vouchers to use with island wide wifi
Friendly, helpful staff; clean, well maintained room; air conditioner worked really well in my room which is good considering how hot it is in Koror; great water pressure in the shower; comfortable bed

Lighting in the area at night is quite poor, but it is only a 10minute walk along the street to the main road. Airport transfer service is more expensive than the average according to the locals. However, if you are a first time traveller to Palau, please do avail of the service. There are no taxis in the country :(
Room was bigger than expected. I was told it would be 10sqm but it turned out to be bigger. Room was nice, clean and comfy for a solo traveller. I like that the staff immediately offered me the card wifi to use for my stay. I'm amazed that Palau has city-wide wifi that you can access without a sim card. Enjoyed my 24 hour stay.

The bathroom door should be mounted on the outside so you can open the door all the way. It should swing outside the bathroom. Otherwise you can’t open the door all the way cause of the sink. Internet card is $3 for 3 days.
The location was excellent. Near the museum - 5 mins walk & lots of restaurants, stores and boat docks. Hotel was well equipped, staff was friendly, room was good. AC, refrigerator & table and chair in room was good. Hot water shower was excellent! Price was why I chose this place. Basic but exceeded my expectations, staff friendly. Common eating area is beautiful.

As I said previously, for the price, the accommodation is decent. Of course, some things could be improved.
Good price in comparison to other accommodation in Koror, spacious room. They picked me up at the airport after midnight.

The price you see on the booking.com is not the final price.... they charge you +10% tax on top of the price on booking.com. I think this tax payment should be reflected on the final price shown on booking.com as it made me feel like it was hidden cost that I didn't know until I made payment at the property.
Very clean and tidy Motel with central location. The staff there were friendly and responded to my queries promptly.
