For a 4 star hotel, it is lacking some investment in the infrastructure. Small niggles such as: two dead lightbulbs; no laundry bag; wifi that did not connect to the internet; broken towel dryer; mould in the bathroom; leaky sink; cracked shower glass and damp towels all added up to a less than 4 star experience. Restaurant: We had the Fondue in the basement restaurant but the poor guy was serving a full house completely alone so he was apologetic when we asked where the potatoes & vegetables were that should have accompanied our bread & cheese. We brought this up at check out and they did give us 20% off the food bill. Spa: My husband had a massage that he said was very good. A bit of investment could solve most of these issues.

We were a bit unlucky with most (all) restaurants in Cilaos being closed over the festive period. The hotel restaurant was closed as well (including the 'salon de thé'). Staff was absent during our check in. The breakfast room/restaurant is too small. The two gentlemen were working fast to clear tables, but were unable to keep up with the number (and requests) of the customers.

The hotel is centrally located in town and has parking. From the hotel you can walk into the main street of Cilaos. It is a boutique hotel with only 18 rooms. The hotel rooms are of a normal size and have a balcony. The hotel has modern finishes and gives the 'mountain feel and view'.

The continental breakfast is a bit poor, I understand it's a small hotel but still. The coffee machine is not for public use but professional uses

The staff was really both easy to approach and willing to help with any questions. While the rooms aren't as spacious as some other 4 stars, it was very cozy and intimist. The simplicity of the city made it wholesome and of a great value for an escape.

Our shower only knew hot and very hot, the cold was never found despite several trials. This hotel certainly on the pricier side - depending on what the preferences are this might be just the right place or not.

Nice hotel in colonial style in city center. Nice staff/ service and tasty breakfast. Spotless rooms.

Hotel personnel barely speaks English.

The rooms was excellent with our terrasse point at Piton des Neiges. Beds were super comfy. Jacuzzi at the rooftop is a must use. Breakfast was good too.

N/A - it was perfect.

I’d give the hotel more than 10 if I could. It was the nicest place we stayed in Reunion. Hôtel was beautiful with stunning views of the mountains. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, one of the nicest group of people we’ve ever met. The rooms were comfortable, well furnished, and had all the amenities you’d need. Breakfast was delicious.

there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms, the spa has to be paid separately. The breakfast - which is officially till 10 - was already reduced more than half an hour earlier stat day. in addition location is quite loud. We have been staying in better hotels in Cilaos and overall I have to say, that the hotel is completely not worth the price and does not represent a 4* standard at all.
