    “Our positive impression of Bait Almuallem by Nomad Nizwa began right after booking: the receptionist proactively explained the parking options and the hotel made it possible to secure a spot right in the Old Town. An electric buggy guided us to the parking area and then brought us to the property—super smooth. The historic, recently renovated mud-brick house sits in the middle of the Old Town. Despite the high outside temperatures, the building stayed pleasantly cool, and our small first-floor suite was an architectural gem. The restoration treats the original fabric with care, preserving intimate historic rooms while furnishing the living areas comfortably in an authentic local style. The air conditioning was essential and worked perfectly, contributing to a wonderful stay. The location could not be more central: the souk and the most significant parts of the Old Town, along with many restaurants, are just a few minutes’ walk. We loved our time here and will definitely return. Highly recommended.”

    “i gave 4 star only beaciuse such a nice hotel with a nice room has a broken shower licking water everywehere.....this is not acceptable.....i dont know what the house keeping supervisor is doing the whole day. i suggest to start doing your job and go by yourself and inspect every single room....than maybe u will get more than 4 star out of 10”

    “We had a wonderful stay at Ahmed’s guest house. Ahmed is an exceptional host — welcoming, generous, and passionate about sharing the beauty of his village and his country. Despite it being the low season, he greeted us warmly and made us feel truly at home. He took the time to share fascinating stories about the history of the area, his traditional Omani house (over 200 years old!), and his beautiful farm and fruit fields. He also gave us plenty of helpful tips and recommendations about things to see and do in the region and across Oman. If you’re looking for a genuine experience in a charming and peaceful setting, we strongly recommend staying at Ahmed’s guest house. It was a highlight of our trip”
