  “The Grand Hotell offered a very friendly welcome, covered parking and our room was very nice and we had a very good breakfast One of the two evenings we ate in the hotel and had, indeed, a fine meal of asparagus and fish cakes with a tangy salsa for starters, fish of the day and fish and chips for mains and a shared dessert of rhubarb creme-brulee, chosen primarily because it was a combination we had never seen before. All well cooked, nicely presented and delicious.”

  “Nice and spacious room with fantastic views of the forest and mountains (even if it was raining when we came). The tranquil sound of the river almost just behind the window. Very helpful receptionists. Fantastic breakfast buffet with nothing missing. The lobby was nicely and comfortably furnished. Last but not least: outdoor jacuzzi and sauna (additional payment required) which we thoroughly enjoyed! Shame we stayed only one night...”

  “Lovely comfortable pillows with crisp bedding!!! Not a spec of dust or dirt in my room, spotless bathroom and shower. Loved it! There was a working fan, and the window could open all the way!”

  “Clean and quiet. Small but has all we need. Water activities are onsite, which is very convenient. We did disk golf and canoeing. Over weekend, carting is available as well. It’s a skiing resort, could imagine it’s busy during winter.”

  “Simple yet clean self service hotel close to the city center and the harbour. We needed a place to stay as we had an early ferry the next morning. City center is walking distance. The rooms were basic but clean and comfy and had a big terrace overlooking the harbour. Everything is selfservice and they also had an area with a table tennis table.”
