“It was likely my mistake that I booked a room with 2 single beds instead of 1 twin+/double size, so it was a bit of a challenge to get a good night sleep, given my non-standard size.
The toilet was a bit too slow and low pressure and it took several attempts to flush it down completely.
There is no restaurant or cafe in the hotel but there is a cafe right outside, in the adjacent building, and a good grocery store - supermarket Sklavenitis is nearby, on Eirini St. Granted, there was a small fridge in the room but no table except for two nightstands.
I spent 2-3 days here and I went twice to the nearby beach(es) - about 30-60 minute walk. It was the beginning of September and the temperatures were 33-36 degrees. A bit of a challenge to find the shortest path to the beaches of Piraeus and it's easy to get lost thanks to some misleading hints from the google and to the existence of the highways and the subway line that need to be crossed in proper places, above or underneath. But the reward is great, if you can manage the heat and if you love the Mediterranean and Greece in particular. You can have an excellent Greek or Italian coffee and ice cream or a variety of restaurants to choose from. along the route. If you use a car, I guess, you have an additional, typically European challenge to find a parking spot. I also saw a lonely cyclist who didn't seem very happy and I ascribed it to the total absence of any cycling paths. Also, don't be surprised if a delivery guy on a motorbike shares the pavement with you and other pedestrians...
When you come back overheated, though, you enter an air-conditioned room, because it does work and you can drink that cold water you left in the tiny fridge! The hotel wasn't crowded and the elevator worked perfectly fine all the time.
All in all, the place is a decent one given the very low price I paid for 3 nights and the receptionists are friendly.”
“The accommodation was excellent! Very clean and well-maintained, with friendly and helpful hosts who made us feel at home. The location was ideal, close to everything we needed. Overall, everything was perfect and we will definitely choose it again!
Overall, everything was perfect and I highly recommend it!”
