  • “Everything : location, the owner’s hospitality”

  • Hanifaru Transit Inn Review score: 10

“Everything! We got a nice welcome coconut drink on their outdoor terrace. The owner Ahmed and the whole staff are amazing, they always went out of the way to make our stay perfect, they organized our trips with their boat, they made sure we were the first to come to the spot where the mantas and the whale sharks were and also to the sand bank. We could rent a Gopro and got the videos. We could use the washing machine for free as much as we needed and dry the laundry on their roof terrace. Breakfast was delicious and plenty, also different almost every day, a great combination of Maldivian and western foods, including peanut butter and chocolate spread! They offer complimentary tea and cofee 24 hours, and you can take water bottles from the fridge any time. The room and the ensuite bathroom are spacious and spotlessly clean, it's cleaned every day. The place is small and feels homely. We felt treated like family. If we could, we would rate the guesthouse 15 out of 10! We recommend the place 100% ! Thank you for your amazing work!”

  • Villa Laguna Maldives Review score: 9

“Beautifull clean room. Very big and comfortable bed. Very nice staff.”

  • Blue World Dharavandhoo Review score: 10

“Love staying here. Really clean, relaxing, beautiful property and the rooms are big, well decorated and so comfortable. The owners and staff are chatty and helpful and I just loved being here. They also have a dive and snorkeling centre and diving was amazing. They are really flexible with the diving and snorkeling so if a whale shark is in the bay anywhere they will take you there immediately and continue diving afterwards, same with the mantas. Great guides to dive with and the dive sites are amazing, so much fish life; plus you never know what you will see swimming above you or below you.”

  • Nihaali Maldives Review score: 10

“I loved that it was surrounded by plants and nature and especially the staff and inthi. The best”

  • Kamadhoo Inn Review score: 10

“It is hard to chose as I loved everything, when i booked online to when i left. Silvia and her partner alongside their staff are very professionnal, kind, and eager to share with you the local maldivian culture/tradition in order to enjoy the stay on the authentic island of Kamadhoo. They were very available online before the trip to explain the conditions, how to get there, and all details. Once there you are immediately amazed by the traditional style/decor made of wood, interior garden/courtyard, the clean aspect of all areas. The food, either buffet or menu, is delicious and offers multiple choice either local or italian/international. I really enjoyed it, and it is all fresh and from ingredients/fish/meat locally sourced. The hotel provides equipment for snorkelling (which is not the case of other guests house around), as well as a boutique. I would like to thank again Silvia and her partner to make my stay memorable and true to Maldives culture. I will remember this place forever and recommendation it to anyone willing to leave Maldives in an authentic way.”

  • “Staying at Dhoani felt like discovering my own private slice of the Maldives. It had everything I needed—comfy rooms, delicious home-cooked meals, and a peaceful atmosphere that made it feel like a true escape. After days full of adventure, coming back to such a cozy space was the perfect way to unwind. Hida and her team were incredible—always smiling, warm, and genuinely attentive. They went out of their way to make my stay extra special and memorable. I felt truly welcomed, like part of the family.. What made this trip even more special was being on a small, local island. It gave me a real taste of Maldivian culture, far from the crowds. Between the stunning beach, the vibrant house reef, and the nearby islands worth exploring, every day was a new adventure. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic island life, genuine hospitality, and a bit of paradise. I can’t wait to come back! Thank you all so much !! 🫶🏽”

  • Kihaa Holiday Home Review score: 10

“Kihaa Holiday Home is a wonderful place on an extraordinary island. Mohamed is a perfect host: The rooms are clean and beautiful, the courtyard in front of the 4 rooms is a warm welcoming place, and together with the common area (open, but covered, with a fan, and a large wooden table) it is simply wow! A perfect snorkeling beach is just a 1-minute-walk away through a palm tree forest, and the stunning bikini beach just a little further. While snorkeling, we saw turtles every single day, and, of course, lots of beautiful fish and corals, including nemos. All people on the island were extremely friendly, and the food (we are great fans of grilled fish and curries, usually served with amazing fresh salads) in the restaurant was nothing but delicious.”

  • LVIS Village Review score: 10

“The staff here is amazing! As we arrived we felt very welcome and also during our stay the staff is always happy to have a chat. The excursions are the best part. Also dinner on the beach, candle light, no music just the sound of the ocean: truly unforgettable. The food is also very good.”
