  • Gästehaus Sophienstraße Review score: 8

“The location was very good. Close to the city center and to subways and buses. Staff very friendly. The breakfast was good too. Lots of choice to chose from. The room was spacious. Bed was comfortable. Pillows could be a bit better.”

  • Landgasthof Kreuz Review score: 7

    “Great breakfast.”

  • Pension Waldheim Review score: 10

“This was a great base for my holiday exploring Freiburg and the Black Forest. The hotel was cosy and rustic and the owner was very welcoming. I stayed in the single room which contained a sink and a kettle. There were 3 shared shower/toilet rooms that were always clean and available when I needed them. The tram stop is just outside the hotel and it is only a 10 minute journey into Freiburg - very convenient. Hotel is in a lovely, peaceful location.”

  • Gasthaus Linde Review score: 8

“Beautiful rooms and beautifully designed. Great accomodation.”

  • “The bedlinen were clean. Nice and quiet location.”

  • Hotel am Römerplatz Review score: 9

“Easy access via the keycode system. The garage for motorbike parking was a real bonus. The communal kitchen facilities is super for making tea and coffee. The room was a decent size, and quiet even though the hotel is just off the road. The staff we met at breakfast were really friendly and helpful.”

  • “Great location. Well appointed apartment that suited long or short stay.”

  • Residenz Labee Review score: 8

“Close to the airport. There was no staff when I got there but everything was ready (there was an envelope with my name on it and the key to my room inside)”

  • Pension Kochertal Review score: 7

“I was thankful for the stress-free parking situation. The room was spacious and very clean. I was thankful for the kitchenette, although I only used the refrigerator and made coffee. For grocery shopping, Aldi and Lidl are nearby (and have adequate parking). If you can walk a mile or two, it is possible to walk downtown and to the Limes Museum and avoid any parking fees.”

  • “Incredible value for money and the children’s facilities are excellent from the spielplatz to the toy and book shelf in the restaurant/breakfast room.”
