    “We stayed at the Gasthaus Krone-Post in Simonswald with our family (two adults and two children) and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The location is excellent, everything was clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast was very good, and having both a car park and a playground nearby was perfect for families. The guesthouse, located about 500 metres from the main building, was very peaceful, offered a wonderful view, and was also spotless. We truly enjoyed our time there.”

    “I stayed here just for one night with my wife and my son in August 2025. The hotel is a cozy, small, nice house in the centre of Freiburg, and you can easily reach it just by walking for 100m in the pedestrian zone after exiting the Schlossberg garage: our nevigation app actually led us there. The breakfast was not included in our fare, but we could have that on demand (just 10mins after our request!) and it's been pleasant. Our room (no. 6) had the windows overlooking the street, but no noise came in during the night. We didn't need, but I'm not sure whether the air conditioning is available or not. Of course, the whole old city centre is just downstairs, and that's the plus of this location.”
