  “I have never left a review before but had to just for this place. Genuinely the nicest host we have ever met. On our travels we have slept in everything from a 4* hotel to a tent on a mountain and we can easily say Kurt’s house has been the best experience. From meeting us at the door armed with beers to eating pizza with us and talking late into the night. For those people looking to meet a wonderful Swiss man and have a brilliantly unique experience, this is the perfect place.”

  “I chose this hotel because it was close to the location of my appointment. Check-in was very easy and straightforward, with little communication. I had prepaid for the room but still had to pay the city tax upon arrival. To my surprise, I received a free upgrade. The room was spacious, clean, and had a lovely terrace. I also appreciated that the room had a fan (no AC), which was very helpful since it was still quite warm in Switzerland at the time. The room was quiet, and I didn’t hear any noise from other guests. Check-out was just as easy as check-in—I simply returned the key and left. I didn’t try the breakfast because, in my opinion, it was too expensive. On the positive side, there are several free parking spots around the hotel, which was very convenient.”

  “Room was a bit small, but beds were excellent, clean and comfortable. Breakfast had lots of variety. The customer service was competent, friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel design was well done and based on its history. I highly recommend this hotel.”
