    “the breakfast absolutely Italian (coffee and some cakes etc.) The room was very large with most facilities (really a studio flat). There was a pizzeria in the building with fair prices. Supermarkets very close.”

    “This property is STUNNING, inside and out. There are two bedrooms that can be booked separately, sharing the kitchen and living room. We booked both rooms so had the whole place to ourselves - two huge bedrooms with three amazing terraces, each one with a fantastic view. It is very close to the new town area which makes access easier than in some other parts of the Sassi. Once in the apartment you are completely immersed in the Sassi. Owner provides very clear instructions on how to find the property and is very helpful and accommodating. Lighting up time in the Sassi is very special. We stayed two nights but could have stayed longer - there is so much to see and experience. Book it and enjoy...”

    “Close to town. Host’s wife helped my husband find somewhere to park as you cannot park near the property. We parked at least 600 metres from the property. He did recommend parking spaces, free and chargeable. Great shower!”

    “Our lovely host Martino was so friendly and helpful, good communication before and during our stay. On our arrival Martino took time to explain the various Matera attractions using Google translate and marked things on the local map for us. Due to hire car problems not of our making at Bari airport, we arrived well after the usual checkin time, but Martino kindly met us at the carpark opposite the accommodation and even rang ahead to a nearby restaurant and booked us a table for our evening meal. Our room was spacious with a large comfortable bed, a fabulous view and our own private patio. Breakfast was delicious with foccacia, cereals, yoghurt and fruits, as well as cold meats and cheese and tasty local bread and pastry. Marino was attentive with coffee and tea and happy to provide more tourist information if we needed it. I couldn't recommend it more.”

    “The property was amazing, Beautiful and Spotless, Wonderful Selection of Breakfast items and Snacks, and you could not ask for a better location, the hosts Simona and Andrea exceptional, Andrea went through in great detail the fantastic places to visit in Lecce and the surrounds and Simona even dropped us at the bus station on our departure”
