    “This is a gorgeous villa, lots of solo travellers to meet from all over the world and very sociable by the pool. The pool is much appreciated on a hot summer day and lovely and clean and cool. The property is beautiful, traditional and preserved. The dorms and bathrooms and shower facilities are extremely clean, comfy and large sizes beds, there is a locker above your bed for a small backpack and the rest of bags are left in the rooms which seemed to be safe. Privacy curtains round the beds. There are plenty of communal areas where people can relax or work including indoor and outdoor. The cleaners are constantly cleaning. There are also kitchen areas with cooking facilities and fridges. People don't seem to lock the dorm doors and come and go but I felt very safe as a solo female traveller as there seems to be CCTV around and no one seemed to have any problems and the property has a front gate too with controlled access from reception so only guests can get in. It's in a local neighbourhood and within a few minute walk to supermarket, bakeries, cafes, liquor stores and a market selling fresh fruits and plenty of other things. You can easily take a taxi to the pyramids (around 40 minutes), the bazaar (around 10 minutes). Taxis are extremely cheap in Egypt. The staff were extremely kind and helped to arrange me a taxi when uber drivers kept trying to scam me for the airport ride. I would 100% recommend and hope to return soon!     “There is a number of things I loved about this place, but firstly I’m sure everyone hears about how unsafe Egypt can be… so as a solo traveler, the management and staff made sure I was ok, I felt absolutely safe… the rooms were clean and and very modern! My room got cleaned everyday… I read about someone having issues in their room but I find that really hard to believe as my room was spotless and I didn’t see nothing like that. The breakfast was amazing really traditional and to be able to have breakfast in front of the pyramids was a dream come true! Truly breathtaking views… the staff are sooooo friendly and caring… I couldn’t thank them enough. The lift is musical which I found nostalgic! The bathroom was clean and the bed was well comfortable. WiFi was good too! Location is perfect and so many options for food and cafe, the location is an authentic setting to feel the real vibe of Egypt! As a solo traveler I couldn’t recommend it enough! Oh and the sunset is breathtaking as it set behind the pyramids… and you can see the light show from the hotel too! Bucket list ticket off! Thank you”

    “The staff at Regency Inn were wonderful and incredibly helpful. The friendly staff made sure all our needs were met including arranging secure airport transfers at 4:30 in the morning. They gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants and sites and interesting insights into the surrounding area. I would absolutely stay here again next time I visit Cairo. It’s central location and wonderful staff is perfect for any traveller needing a comfy bed and some good hospitality.”
