    “L'Hotel du Cygne is a quirky, bijou boutique hotel right in the centre of Tours, excellently located for strolling the town and sampling the local delights. The staff were rather lovely and very helpful and the rooms more than adequate for a short stay.”

    “The best part was the wonderful friendliness and welcome we received at reception ( English, Spanish, French, Greek spoken). Beds were really comfortable, and the room wa s spacious enough with a large bathroom and shared area in courtyard and inside as well. Travelling with our almost grown up sons we rested well in this peaceful hotel. The breakfast was delicious, locally sourced products, many organic, many home made. It was outstanding and we set out well prepared to explore this lovely village of Chinon.”

    “This was a very functional but quite basic hotel situated on the outskirts of Chartres. The room was a decent size and the bed was very comfortable. Quiet location and only a short drive into Chartres but no restaurants within walking distance.”
