“The room was very clean. We have received kimonos and fresh towels. There was a great onsen available. The breakfast was typical Japanese and really delicious. The staff was helpful.”
“Very cozy hotel at a very central location. Easy to get everywhere either by walking or taking the subway. Delicious breakfast as well and friendly staff. Would recommend!”
“The pod was super clean and comfy and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. There is a small bar on site and they have another slightly larger outdoor bar and cafe just a few meters away. Everything you need all there. Excellent value and an easy walk to the station with good buses to everywhere and a 7/11 cafe and arm a short walk away.”
“Hotel is exceptional! Free sake and beer degustation, cosy rooms, clean and very nice designed...very welcoming staff, great onsen experience, parking service, great location...”
“We loved our stay at Ryokan Gizan. We had a 4 night stay here with our 2 children, 7 & 9 years of age. We were after an authentic Japanese experience and felt that it ticked all the boxes. We had a Japanese style room with futon mattresses on the floor which were comfortable. The room was ample in size for the 4 of us. The private onsen was so nice after a day of hiking and exploring the Hirayu area. We loved putting on our Yukata and enjoying the free drinks and snacks each night. We didn't have any meals at the property but there are plenty of food options in the area. Would love to come back again in the future.”
“Our stay at Yukimurasaki fully exceeded our expectations. We arrived an hour early and asked to store our luggage at the hotel before going on a walk. The nature around the facility is beautiful and once we got back to the hotel, our luggage was already transported to our room, the luggage wheels were cleaned (for the tatami floors), and we were able to check in early. We then spent the rest of the day enjoying the private onsen, as well as both rooftop onsens. The Kaiseki dinner was a highlight as well, with many different things to try, all of which were neatly prepared for us. We also tried out some local sake, which tasted amazing. The morning thereafter we spent some more time in our private onsen and enjoyed a great breakfast. All in all it was an amazing and unforgettable experience. We also want to highlight that we felt welcome right from the start and were greeted in perfect English, which made communication easy and pleasant, and we even got some information on how to travel throughout Japan more efficiently.”
“The staff is so kind and gentle! Help me a lot when I lost my wallet. It’s really clean, the common space is very good. Have access to the fridge so you can have cold water. Close to the Kawaguchiko station. You can leave your baggage at 9AM before your checking and also after your check out.”
