  • “The location is good. There are fabulous shepherds huts by the river with private jacuzzis. Staff friendly. The massage was great. Just what I needed after a week's hiking. Masseuse was very nice and professional. Having a jacuzzi. Lovely freshly decorated room. The food van onsite. Good activities to choose from. Hotel with bar and food short walk away.”

  • “Everything was perfect. Beautiful view we had a bonus rainbow. Hot tub and pool were lovely, rooms spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely too.”

  • Glencoe Youth Hostel Review score: 9

“Me and my adult daughter stayed for a night. The highlight of the hostel was the really friendly and cheerful english fella on the staff. The accomodations are fine: clean, good beds, simple rooms with no decorations. Its boardingschoollike with shared toilets and showers and kitchen. It has a free drying room for your hiking gear or token operated tumble dryers. When we stayed, the nearest grocery store was an hour walk away. It has nearby inns that serve one or two vegan options The surrounding landscape is of course amazingly beautiful.”

“Location in a most majestic location”

  • “The location was at one end of town, and the house was in a lovely setting with grounds surrounding it and next to a creek to swim in. Facilities were good, we paid for a great breakfast. There is a great drying room. Lots of people staying, but it didn't feel crowded.”
