    “The Polish Princess is an amazing and cozy spot in Portland. The location is beautiful and in a perfect position, just 5 min driving from Frenchman's Cove, Blue Lagoon, Boston Bay, and 10 min from Port Antonio. Also 35 min away from Reach Falls and Turtle Bay Cove in Manchioneal. The owner Barbara is extremely welcoming and kind. She really wants her guests feeling home, and she can provide for any needs. She also cooks great international and jamaican breakfast, and her suggestions about places to go and visit are always right and worthy to give it try: she didn't make any wrong, not even once. The room is not provided with A/C, so it gets hot during summer, but Barbara can provide standing fans that will help to feel good enough for sleeping and chilling. The guest house is very nice, with beautiful garden and patio, and lovely small and comfortable rooms. The surrounding are is quiet and private, and very safe. The road have been lately paved, so no need to be worried. The quality/price ratio is great and l would definitely stay here again if l will come back to Portland. The owner and the guest house have met the expection and made me feeling home, as well as allowed me to have a wonderful time in Portland. Totally recommended!!!”

    “We had a fantastic stay at the Prince Valley Guesthouse. It's in a very remote, beautiful area in the mountains. We stayed for a couple of days. On the afternoon we got there, we took it easy, relaxing on the rooftop and enjoying the amazing view and a beautiful sunset. On our second day, we walked for about an hour or so to the coffee farm (craighton) where we enjoyed an incredible tour. On our final day, we took it easy and relaxed at the property, though we were tempted to visit the school of vision rasta camp nearby or enjoy one of the nearby waterfalls. (Our only regret is that we didn't take advantage of the possibility of getting a ride from Kingston, where we were staying before, to the guesthouse. We took an Uber to a spot on the nearest main road from where one of the hosts picked us up for the final descent down challenging, worse for wear mountain roads. We realised we should have just taken the transfer from Kingston and recommend you do the same if you don't come by your own car. We didn't make the same mistake on the way back).”
