“It was a beautifully decorated, cosy guest house in an idyllic village. The host, Teresa, was welcoming and fun. The breakfast was thoughtfully prepared, with an array of delicious high-quality items suitable for meat eaters and vegetarians. The facilities were outstanding, we could borrow paddleboards and kayaks and go swimming from the private jetty or small beach next to the house. The garden was gorgeous and even had an area where we could sit outside and shelter if it rained. Luckily, it was good weather and we could watch the sun go down past the mountains, with the sun glistening on the gentle waves, while sitting in the garden.
We had dinner at the local pizza restaurant and the pizza was excellent. The garlic sauce was scrumptious too.”
“The location is good, really close to the point where the shuttle bus pick up the passengers to the P2 parking. Bathroom and shower are inside the room so it's really convenient. The recommended resturant is also acceptable and food is good there, you also get 10% discount for the food.”
“The location is great - the hotel is right by the fjord in Eidfjord with a great view. There is a car park right next to the hotel and you are right in the village with direct access to all its amenities. The breakfast was also very good - a wide choice in the buffet of high quality food. The room was a great size with 2 windows and should have been a good room - but see comments below.”
“A "cabin in the middle of nowhere" in the best sense of the word. Actually, a small house, with a large living room and 3 "just about" sized bedrooms with comfy beds, nice and clean, well equipped, very practical and thought after, other cabins and houses scattered around within reasonable distance (no interference with neighbours), allocated, free parking, jacuzzi, fresh air, nice, friendly hosts (personal contact), reasonable price, nearest town (Norheimsund) and the Steinsdalsfossen waterfalls not far away... With one word: "FANTASTIC"! Honestly, an excellent place to switch off and relax!”
