    “The hosts are very nice and acommodating. They are full of suggestions of what to in and around Hualien. And they make delicious breakfast. It is very convenient that you can rent a bike at the hostel. I also loved the hostel cat!”

    “Checking good. Free towel upon asking. Great as free washing machine use. Beds comfy. Dorm on the small size but OK if people are tidy! On the minus side - the area for guests very tiny with a tiny dirty fridge. The kitchen sink vile/dirty for x3 days, only cleaned on Thursday when the restaurant part to be open friday to public. A/C only in dorms. fan only in sitting area and A/C in dining area only put on when restaurant opens. So makes for very uncomfortable humid relaxing.”

    “The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was great to stay there. At the reception they helped me where to go hiking, what to see etc. Also in the morning when having breakfast the staff was very friendly and smiling. You can rent a bike so it is possible to discover the city and the nearby places much easier and in an environment friendly way. I also liked that i had the option to ask to change the towels, so paying attention to the environment.”

    “The location accomplished what we were looking for during our short visit to Hualien: 15 minutes walk to Dongdamen Night Market, many places to eat around the hotel, a Laundromat just next to the hotel, and (since we were travelling by car) a small but very convenient parking just outside the building. The room was big enough for two people, we had a good rest. The breakfast area is ok (and the staff was nice enough to let us use the microwave to have dinner there)”
