    “Very nice accommodation. Clean and pleasant homely environment. Everything works as it should. Good breakfast. The host is very friendly and helpful. We would love to come back again. Volendam is a beautiful town. PS.: We were very pleased when our breakfast was described in Czech.”

    “Great breakfast service which was definately value for money - one should not miss this optional service which is a very competative and one of a kind, very friendly hosts, great location not far from the charming fishing village, free safe parking, very nice little garden or terrace with outdoor tables available - indoor breakfast table is provided with counter and stool. So if the weather is nice, having a breakfast in the terrace is also a great option as well. Due to our touring plan, we have opted to self check in which was kindly offered us by the host. She had provided us a very good instructions on how to get there, where to park, and how to access the site. All went well without any problems.”

The place itself was perfectly clean and radiated a cozy atmosphere. Breakfast was simply delicious — fresh, beautifully prepared, and made with love. Our experience couldn’t have been better. We left with the warmest impressions and the highest appreciation for Jonas and his hospitality. We wholeheartedly recommend this place — it’s truly exceptional!”

    “The breakfast area is a converted cowshed, very atmospheric. The breakfast is magnificent, probably the best we have experienced in the Netherlands. Whilst the breakfast area is “antique “ the bedrooms are modern, spacious and comfortable. The location is somewhat remote, which we like, and only some 100 metres from the dike along the Ijselmeer, and the cycle path to either Hoorn or Enkhuisen.”

What really stood out, though, was the host, Ingrid. She was incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to help with any questions or doubts we had during our stay.”

    “I liked the B&B. It is located in a lovely area of Urk. It was close to the beachfront and lighthouse. We had the double deluxe room which met our expectations. The room is large, and has a rustic/country feel to it. The hosts were very helpful also and we made good use of the terrace front in the early mornings.”
