“We loved the artsy, bohemian vibe; the gorgeous dog, Phenix, the charming owner Jerome and his delightful colleague, Lucille. The location was fantastic just a shade away from the busy-ness of the harbour but also a stone's throw of the amenities.”
“This was an absolutely perfect stay. The property is in a perfect location, an easy 10 minute walk from the centre of the pretty town. The gardens are a peaceful and perfectly maintained oasis, and the pool area is luxurious and tranquil. Our apartment was next to the pool, with a little terrace with table and chairs to enjoy a quiet moment. Everything about this property is focussed on ensuring that you have a wonderful stay. The apartment is tastefully decorated with everything you might need (plenty of towels, toiletries, chargers, coffee machine…) and impeccably clean. And the fantastic breakfast is delicious and plentiful, with access to a well equipped kitchen during the day (with coffee, tea, cold drinks, and often other treats). Our generous hosts could not have been kinder, giving us such a warm welcome on arrival, and every time we saw them. They achieved a perfect balance of making their guests feel welcome and incredibly well cared for, and also with the time and space to quietly switch off and enjoy the holiday. After 5 days, we feel completely rested and are already planning a return visit. I cannot recommend this property highly enough. We loved it!”
“Excellent! We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Chrystel was so welcoming and friendly - it was just like staying in someone's house. The breakfast was a bonus.”
“Ingrid (Hotel Manager) was excellent and so helpful. The hotel has an authentic 'mediterranean' feel. If you are looking for a posh, formal hotel - this is not for you. However, if you want a beautiful, honest, authentic island experience, this is ideal. You can feel at home, with a kitchen and dining table available to all - throughout the day. If you want to dine in peace and quiet, just take your breakfast to the outdoor square (with assigned tables and chairs, soley for hotel guests.) Lock your bicycle in a designated hotel space and walk to the markets or boulangerie every morning - in just about 3 minutes!”
“A calm, clean, adorable place. We appreciated every detail and thus wanted to treat it carefully with much love as if it were our own. Vincent was a wonderful host!”
“Unique place to stay with 400 years of history to learn about. We had the fort to ourselves after it was closed to the public in the evening. Great location to explore the island by either bike or car, would recommend biking as the roads can be busy and there is a really good network of cycle routes.”
